The bible speaks much about salt. The Davidic Throne was considered a Covenant of Salt which means that for ALL generations there would be a Davidic descendant to rule over Israel until Christ returns. Is salt good or bad for you?

According to the bible it is not bad. It has the quality of purity and eternalness to it. I think that we would be healthier if we had salt in our diets. I'm not advocating too much salt, but the amount they say is too much is probably not the case. In other words, if the food tastes bland, then it needs salt, not a "retraining of our taste buds" to avoid so-called bad salt. One word of caution; the salt we need may be more of the "sea salt" variety with other vital nutrients. Man, of course, like other foods stripped these and added iodine amongst other things which makes table salt. Although table salt is not 100% bad, it is not perfect, either.

Here is a link to the salt institute's analysis regarding this biblically based mineral. I think those who fall for the establishment's lie about salt do not know their bibles well at all. I especially like the so-called logic about the people of Japan that take in additional salt. :-D

Salt isn't bad for you... it was actually REALLY great before refridgeration- pretty much guaranteed people wouldn't starve. However, the kind of processed and OVER salted foods that are available today weren't available when the bible was written, so of course the bible wouldn't say too much about campell's soup, etc. So, everything in moderation- as I always say.
