Recently I've stumbled on the AV bible and the difference that we should note between having faith in Jesus, and having the faith of Jesus.

This is such a great discovery, and it turned my depression upside down. I've been trying to have faith in Jesus, falling because it's something I do. My works. But once I was enlightened that Jesus had to have faith in his Father to do the Father's work, and to be raised from the dead... it is a ball game changer. I respect Jesus so much for his faith. It's a living faith. From faith to faith - from his faith to our faith.

It gives us the means to believe Jesus was in fact innocent and sinless. Without his faith, he could not please the Father. And without his faith becoming our faith, we are unable to believe in his holiness. Any attempt to believe in his holiness is in our conjuring up an image of him in our mind. This living faith of Jesus access to the grace that is so huge - believing in the living Christ.

Because there is a difference in believing and receiving that most are not aware of...
