Hi,

I seem to be unable to locate the policies of this forum. I was wondering if it says anything about homosexuality? A lot of Christians seem to be anti-gay but I am not. Would I fit in here?

I don't think this forum is really "anti-gay" so much as the general consensus is that living as a practicing homosexual is sinful. You may went to check the Terms of Service (ToS). I think there's info in there about homosexuality and how members are to proceed w/ any discussions about it.

From our Terms of Service
Discussion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) is also limited and will only be allowed in Christian Talk & Advice, and/or the Bible Study forum. We understand the need to discuss LGBT issues, and to provide support for those struggling with such issues. This restriction is in place because experience has taught us that many are unable to debate this in a Godly manner, or and without promoting sin in one form or another. We do welcome posts for support or prayer, or sincere Biblical discussions.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

It's not necessarily a question of pro-gay verses anti-gay. It's a Biblical question. It is quite clear how God views homosexual activity. The topic usually triggers some very strong emotional responses and therefore there is a moratorium on discussions with regard to homosexual behavior.

From ToS 2.2

From the CT&A forum sticky
We feel the need to keep this CT&A Forum open and available to members who have a sincere desire to overcome inclinations towards homosexuality. We understand that there are sinful urges that are both heterosexual and homosexual, and we want to be there for members who are struggling with either. We cannot and will not permit this to be a platform for anyone to legitimize homosexuality at any level. CFnet believes there is substantial scripture that states any act of homosexuality is sinful, and it should never be said that it is permissible under any circumstance.

We will continue to make this topic open for discussion when a member needs to discuss it or when we as a Church want to discuss how to effectively minister to those who struggle with any area of sin. In either case, this lifestyle needs to be put in the context that it is sinful and not acceptable to the Lord. Any posts that seek to counter this message will be deleted. Repeated attempts to re-post deleted posts could result in Infractions.

This is an important subject for believers who struggle with it, and they need a place where they can receive Godly advice that is consistent with scripture. This is why we will continue to make the Christian Talk & Advice Forum open for discussions about homosexuality. Any attempts to legitimize homosexual OR heterosexual immorality is strictly prohibited on CFnet and especially so in this forum.

homosexuality is a kind of mental disorder, and the homosexual people are mentally ill, so i personally cannot afford and do not dare to say homosexuality is something normal, or, how could i advise any person to be(come) mentally ill?!, but this also means the mentally ill people need a good treatment, not a punishment

Blessings
