I find my faith in Gods abilities to do whatever He wants, and Have whatever He wants to happen whenever He wanted it, I don't need science to explain anything, although I will add, that the bible is only a book about our time on earth, and gives no mention to anytime previous to ours, also there is no mention of what God used to create the earth with, considering He appears to be a recycler (nature recycles itself) He very well may of used material that could of had some years floating in space.........I'm not sure I would consider myself a gap theory believer, but just one that indentifies there is no mention of a material list for what God used to create the formless void earth

I have heard it taught, It fills in some hard to answer questions, I DO NOT think it is necessary for God to do His work.
Any way Genesis says "GOD CREATED" NOT When or HOW! THE Question is DO I BELIEVE GOD CREATED IT?

It is a theory that there is a gap of time between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 which had a previous "creation" before the creation. It is purely speculation.
