The ultimate goal of the Gospel is the Kingdom. Both the OT word "kingdom" in Hebrew and the NT word "kingdom" in Greek (in their various form) is a mark of unity of the Kingdom doctrine as one. As we pass through the progressive goal of God's plan of bringing it to completion. And the citizens and government of that kingdom will dwell there by God's grace in Jesus Christ.....after He has put the last enemy (death) under His feet. (1 Cor. 15:20-28). This is the Gospel's Goal.

The ultimate goal of the Gospel is the Kingdom.

God loves humanity dearly and desires all to come to repentance.

Anytime we discuss the Gospel of the kingdom, we must see that to repent is the key that opens the door to His kingdom.

There is only one command in the Gospel to be obeyed.

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

  • Repent means to turn to God.

If you are called to turn to God, then by default you are called to turn from Satan as your lord.

The way that your express this obedience of faith, concerning the Gospel is to confess Jesus as Lord.

This is what grants the believer/obeyer of the Gospel, the forgiveness of sins.

This is plainly what the Lord Jesus Christ taught to and commissioned Paul to do.

  • The road to Damascus -

15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:15-18

Repent is about being transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God.

  • He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, Colossians 1:13

It's about changing who you serve, as your Lord.

  • The Gospel of the kingdom is about changing the kingdom your are in, by changing the lord you serve.

The Gospel of the kingdom is about changing the kingdom your are in, by changing the lord you serve.
Man can not change the Kingdom he is in for flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 15:49-51). In the millennial Kingdom, (The Kingdom of Heaven) will be of flesh and blood and will be to fulfill the promises that God made to Israel by the OT prophets. Israel will be the head of all nations and will bring their nations to worship God in Jerusalem. (Psalms 86:9) (Rev. 21:221-27) (Isa. 60:10) This is how it will be during the 1000 reign of Christ. After the 1000 years of peace upon the earth, Satan is loosed again.

Why do you think, after God giving us a 1000 years of peace, would He then loose Satan again? The answer: God has given man through the ages, instruction to live a peaceful life. Bible calls them "stewardship's" or "dispensations" (in which many men reject by self will). Every instruction or period of time given man for a godly life, man has failed!....every one! So, after God binds Satan, The rule of the Spirit and throne of David, there is peace. Once Satan is loosed, man goes right back to believing Satan's negative and prideful spirit of chaos, even to do battle with God.

The point? Man needs God. Without God, well, just look at the earth as it is under Satan! Without God, man is more cruel and evil than any animal.

The RCC has tried to set up a kingdom of God on the earth. But it is of flesh, bone and blood, an assembly of men speaking for God over the Church. But the Church is an equal brotherhood.

Then after the Last battle Armageddon (The Valley of Megiddo). Then there will be a new heaven and earth (Rev. 21:1)

Man can not change the Kingdom he is in for flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Who said anything about flesh and blood?

The only way to change from being in the dominion of darkness, and be transferred into the kingdom of God, is by obeying the Gospel, which is to repent.

Kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven are the same thing as Jesus was the kingdom of God here on earth when He walked amongst man as now the kingdom of heaven is within those whom are in Christ. The kingdom is spiritual as all things of God are Spiritual. In the end of days Gods kingdom will be brought down to earth as we dwell with Him in the new Jerusalem.

The kingdoms of this world have always been the kingdoms of God until sin was allowed to rule over His kingdoms/nations, but yet they are still God's and one day when the seventh trumpet sounds the kingdoms will once again become the kingdoms of God as in the beginning will be in the end for God is Alpha and Omega.

Hi Glory, That is a C of C doctrine. The Kingdom of Heaven is the rule of Christ as the Son of David upon the earth of which Christ came preaching. Matthew is the promise of God that a Son of David would set upon the throne of Israel. The genealogy in Matthew traces Christ as the Son of David through Mary. He starts His ministry of preaching the kingdom of Heaven in Chapter 4. Christ is not calling out His Church in Matthew, He has only come to I the lost sheep of Israel. (Matt. 15:22-24)

In (Luke 17:20-22) Christ could not be saying to the self righteous and prideful religious leaders that the Kingdom was within them! But where ever Christ is, there is the Kingdom. The kingdom was in the midst of the. Jesus was standing there in the midst of that group of religious leaders. (Luke 10:9-11) (Matt. 12:28) (John 1:25-26)

There will be nothing (Rev. 21:27) unclean that will enter in, and if the kingdom of Heaven was within us, then it would be corrupted by the flesh. God gave us a new man, He never changed the Old man. We are to be a temple, Christ is the Kingdom. I know the Kingdom is not within me and Christ never teaches it as a doctrine, But the Spirit I was given at birth. The doctrine that the church has taken the place of Israel is also a false doctrine.

What is C of C doctrine?

What I am talking about is that of the Spiritual kingdom of heaven/God. We who are Spiritually born again, John 3:3-6 are in Christ and He in us, John 15:1-6, then so is the Spiritual kingdom of heaven within us, Luke 17:20, 21. It's that same light in Isaiah 9:1-7 as Jesus is that light spiritually and literally born unto unto the nations making Jesus being the kingdom of heaven/God.

Jesus never said the kingdom of heaven/God was within the Pharisees nor that anything evil could enter in, but was only answering a question the Pharisees ask Him.

The Church has not taken the place of Israel, but that all are now one body of Christ as Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise, Galatians 3:19-29.

C of C is Church of Christ denomination. Neither do they believe that the holy Spirit indwells believers today. While the Church is made up of Jew and Gentile as one new man (Eph. 2:14-16) But that is the Church, Heirs to the throne by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:17). But there is still an Israel that will have all the promises of being the head of all nations during the 1000 year reign of Christ where the Church along with Christ will rule with Christ. Right now, Christ is calling out the Church, His body. Then after that (The Church completed), He will then build up the Throne of David over Israel.....But not until he has finished building His Body (The Church) (Acts 15:13-18)

Thank you for explaining the C of C.

We differ in the 1000 year reign as I believe 1000 years in Rev 20 is not literal years, but only symbolic of a certain period of time, but that is a different topic of discussion so I will not get into that here.

God saved a remnant which are the generational 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel, except for the tribe of Dan as they fell to idol worship and allowed God to be removed from them, Judges 18:30; 1 Kings12:25-33. To keep it twelve tribes since Dan is not mentioned in vs. 4-8 the tribe of Joseph appears twice, once under his own name and once under the name of his son Issachar/Manasseh. Judah is mentioned first as Messiah was to come from the lineage of David.

This is the importance of the 144,000 of the house of Israel and their generations unto the end of days. There were those of the old covenant that were faithful to God in keeping all his commandments and repented of their idol worshipping. Their generations who have also come back to Gods grace that are still alive during the seven trumpet sounds will continue to preach to the Jews as it was with Peters instruction in Matthew 10:6. The generations of the 144,000 that are still alive have the seal of God on them which are the seven Spirits of God, Isaiah 11:2, as they will have to endure much persecution until the end of days before the return of Jesus.
