Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

Blev, it's a Christian church, that much I found out from the people who live next door (and the big cross in the front yard) ,it's definitely not Catholic because thats the one denomination they know about here and it's not a big fancy building.. My preference would be for multi or non denominational simply teaching and fellowshipping together in His word...

That sounds wonderful! I'm excited about you going and letting us know how it is :biggrin

Will do Blev, I'm looking forward to it a lot! Been a long time without a church to attend so I'm eagerly waiting to see what our Lord has brought me here to this one for.

To spread the light, love, truth and joy of Jesus :biggrin

Good day to you all. Just thought I would share a little story about something that occurred this morning.

I was getting ready to head out for my paper route, around 2 am. I put my coat and baseball cap on and went out the door. After I got in the car and started driving over to the distribution center, which is the next town (about 4 miles away) I thought I felt a tingling on my head. I thought it was just an itch and figured I would take care of it when I got to the distribution center.

Well, I got there and of course forgot about the "itch" and started rolling papers. Well, a few minutes into it I felt it again. I took off my hat and what do I find? A COCKROACH!

Yup, a cockroach hitched a ride in my hat. Needless to say I freaked out a bit, cuz I hate the things, and was able to get it out of my hat and kill the thing.

One good way of waking you up early in the morning.

Normally the needless killing of an animal would make me mad, but I understand that after waking up at 2 am in the morning we all are run by our instincts. :lol

Hi Knotical,

That was a great laugh. I think I would have freaked out too. :lol

It's rather cold here and we had a lot of snow the last days.
So I just walked through the snow - BAREFOOT. :yes
Though it was only from the house door to the garbage bin to bring out the trash, maybe like 20 meters and 20 more back to the house, but it was awesome! There was a woman with a kid walking by and she looked at me really shocked. :lol
Leaving barefoot footprints in snow was amazing, too.

Knotical, that's priceless. At least you had a good supply of rolled up papers to swat it with!...the bugs the bugs...everywhere bugs!
Claudya, you're lucky,I've always wanted to see snow. But bare foot?In frozen water? I know why the lady gave you a funny look. lol

Don't get frostbite!

When I was a kid we layed down in the snow and moved our arms up and down to make snow angels

Morning all, or afternoon/evening depending on where you are. Today is a significant day in the Knotical family. My fourth son, fifth child, may be born today. My wife went in to the hospital to be induced. Unfortunately, I did not hold on to enough vacation time to be there with her all day, so I am just waiting for the call to leave work so I can be there for the delivery. I covet your prayers that everything goes well and that I will be able to get there at the right time.

Congrats on your fifth child. You are a very blessed family. :)
I hope and pray everything goes/went well for your wife. Though I'd guess since it's her fifth baby she probably knows the routine. ;-)

The new member of the Knotical crew arrived last night at 11:23 local time, just under the wire to have a 12/12/12 birthday. 9lb 12oz, 22 1/4 in long. His name is Caleb.

Thanks for all your prayers. I do ask for additional prayers as this was my wife's first c-section, so I we are praying for a speedy recovery.
