I apologize if the following statement might be too gruesome for some viewers but,..this evening,.. *gulps* I lost my Internet connection. :eek2Lol, sorry if I scared you guys but I couldn't resist. Anyways, on a serious note, this got me to thinking how we are so dependant on something that truthfully we all can live without.
 
In all seriousness, the world would be a lot better place without the internet and cell phones. I might even go so far as to say that electricity is not really the blessing we all believe it is.

Exactly. I got saved a year or two ago before I signed up here, but my faith is so much stronger now. I admit, I still doubt sometimes but the very fact that I'm afraid of losing my salvation and being separated from God just proves that I haven't lost it because I really do care. I posted this on another thread but somebody made an excellent quote on another forum. They were saying that having faith doesn't mean that you don't doubt at all, it just means that you believe in spite of it. :)
 
Pups, I'm on the internet too much but I remember when I wanted to know ,I had to go ask in person, go to the library and also talk to people.

Now Its much easier to hide,not know nor care about anyone .we post here mostly behind pseudonames.

Some are real here ,others might not be .in know some from fb

I was really thinking about it for awhile and I think my problem was that I was really afraid to go to people and admit that I doubt my salvation at times because I was too embarrassed to admit it and fearful what I was going to hear. However, now I realize that that was silly. I would have never even known that one can still be saved and have doubts at times if I never even asked in the first place. I found out that I am saved simply because I called on Jesus asking to be saved and for Him to help my unbelief.
 
I'm not really sure what you are referring to there but I was just going to say that I highly doubt that most kids have ever even seen a library unless it's at their school.

Libraries have Internet acess.

I plan to go to the main one here to read up on the local military base that was where our air port is.a building that Is a brewery was part of that time.

That's true but almost everybody if not everybody has got a computer nowadays so they probably wouldn't see the point in going to the library even though I personally love to get movies, books, (and books on DC for the more difficult ones I even got the Bible Experience one time) music, and sometimes even games there. I go to the library more than I go to the mall lol (I usually just order stuff from my online account though and then my mom picks it up)

Libraries have geneology sections. Mine does .
