Im doomed.

You're not doomed if you are Spiritually born again and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. All Jesus expects from us is to love Him and continue in the good works He started, Matthew 25:31-40. If there is anything you need to change in your life Jesus will help you with that.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Can we get:topic. This is not about baptism, but the judgement seat of Christ, thank you.
Agreed! There's nothing edifying when arguments are intended to prove others wrong. We have our differences and we all believe that what we believe is truth but we can't all be right.

Going off topic to say this.

Not everyone is going to agree with each other and that which is brought to the table should be taken and individually studied instead of argued over. Let the Holy Spirit convict us if we are wrong and not man's convicting us. We are all on different levels of learning and understanding no matter how many years we have been reading the scriptures. How and or who we are learning from makes a big difference in how we present what we feel is truth.

Voice that of what you believe and discuss the indifference's without the arguments and maybe we will all learn something we might have missed. I know I have missed many things before someone else brought it to light as they had a greater knowledge. Remember, non-Christians that are seeking and very young Christians read what we post so let's remain pleasing unto the Father in all we say.

i have read it and i still stand where i am separate judgement for the Lost vs the saved i will not stand the great white throne judgment of the lost
You would be part of the 1st resurrection and the 2nd death would have no hold on you. Vs the resurrection of the unrighteous or 2nd resurrection. So I agree with you in that sense.

your right so LET us all remember that next time we disagree
thank you - that is such a good point - that is the key to a good discussion

based on this truth i would like to ask EVERYONE to PLEASE share what you believe and WHY without telling others that your beliefs are right and the other guy's beliefs are wrong

this is what starts debates and ruins discussions

let's all share the truth in love - Ephesians 4:15 because we want to build each other up - not tear each other down

Sorry, you're not very convincing to me. In this context you appear to be saying that the 1000 years is not any period of time, it being symbolic, even though you said before it was a "period of time." I guess it being a symbolic period of time means that it is no period of time in your view? If all that passage you mentioned is symbolic only, and has no chronological significance, then what is the reason for the exercise? Why mention any period of time at all, since it seems like a confusion? And confusion it obviously is, since the churches are pretty much split over whether to interpret this passage as literal or figurative. I've got to have a lot more than this to convince me. If it's a burden you can't bear, then perhaps you can point me to your teachers that may give me clearer explanations? I must be honest in saying I'm not taking anyone's word for how to interpret a passage of scripture, since I need the whole process of the hermeneutics used so I can see the proof myself. If it makes no sense to me, I'm not accepting it, regardless of the claim.

My .02:

the theological term for this is amillenialism. The whole Church understood things this way for a very long time. I'm not sure when that changed, adding a literal 1,000 years.

I can understand it both ways, and have; no (human) teacher needed.

Personally, I like to hear what the Spirit says to me. I also try to guard against "hyper-Spiritualizing" everything, negating the literal and plain reading of Scripture. Usually, God shows me things that line up Spiritual understanding(s) and literal meaning, without any conflict.

Not this one!!

What do I do with it? I glorify God. His thoughts are as high above my thoughts as the earth is above heaven. I am very Blessed that He has seen fit to share a great many of His thoughts with me, in ways I can (sometimes) understand even! That's a lot of fun.

This one goes over my head, especially now, while my thinking is kinda 'fuzzy' lately. Maybe He's shown me enough I really SHOULD be able to not only get this, but explain it to others? I hope He's not angry with me that I can't. I know I fall short of His glory. I'm pretty sure He hasn't given up on me yet.

Even if I understood this mystery, and all mysteries, it would do no good if I don't have Love ... so that's the important thing!

When Christ returns on the last day, John 6:40, every eye will see Him come in the clouds the same way He ascended up to heaven, even those who pierced Him, Acts 1:11; Rev 1:7. Notice where it says even those who pierced Him as they are even now in their grave. On the last day the one and only resurrection of all who are in their grave will hear His voice and come forth out of their grave. They that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation, John 5:28, 29.

At the great white throne judgement Jesus will be seated on His throne of glory as God commits all judgment unto the Son, John 5:22. The books will be opened, including the Lamb's book of life, and all will be judged as Jesus will then gather all nations (people) before Him and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. The sheep will hear Jesus say: "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world". The goats will hear Jesus say: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels", Matthew 25:31-46.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
