I know you will probably kick me out of a deep seated fear of free and rational thought.

I have read the Holy Bible the Torah and the Qur'an. I have found these books to be full of hatred and unrealistic expectations i.e the seven deadly sins.

I would therefore like to pose a question, has anyone read the satanic bible? What is the Christian interpretation of it? And finally I would challenge anyone to find and quote any "evil" from it.

Keep yours minds open, question everything.
 
Yes,Satan is the prince of this earth.It is a choice.Satan or Christ.You either follow Jesus Christ or Satan.There is no in between.
 
It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”.

For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3).

He orders another attack and the killing of“all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). InJudges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife!

Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 andIsaiah 13:16), and bashing babiezs against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).
 
Also Kiwidan, what would you say is the main cause of violence in the world today? In your opinion?

How then does the greed and self interest of an individual, motivate violence?

When compared to; including but not limited to, the war on "terrorism", the second world war, recent acts of extremist violence and also the expunged child abuse in a once trusted and respected organisation.
 
Greed and selfishness promote self preservation, not violence, self preservation is the primary and foremost instinct of every animal on our beautiful earth.

Self preservation by definition is the practice of staying alive and well, look at any animal they will only use violence as a means of hunting food and self defence.

But yes, I agree, any animal acting in self preservation would be as swift and violent in self defence as mother nature would allow them.

Your post fills my mind with thoughts of horror, yes very scary verses. Since so many christians are ok with those verses I hope we dont have a nuclear war, otherwise im afraid those days might return.

There is nothing to be afraid of when you have the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ in your heart.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, especially because of so many fundamentalist ideals and principals as the doctrine of the government of man.
