What a day!. What do you do, when you find a bad part, go get a new one and come back to install it, only to find out that it's a bad part too? Go turn it back into the supply house and tell them to give you another new part. It's happened before. So I did. They gave me a new part and I drove back across town 20 miles to complete that job.

The 2nd part was bad too! Now that don't happen very often. I have had it happen before but not when it was a 40 mile round trip to the supply house. I lost my sense of humor real quick. Why even bother going to the same supply house, they prolly have a whole batch of bad parts. So I prayed. Admittedly, I didn't really expect that the Lord would help me with this. Just something that happens. I already knew the 2nd part was bad and as I was sitting there mulling over my next move, up walks the customer and flicks the switch...you done?

It came on just as pretty as you please. I immediately knew the Lord had stepped in so I stood up and said yes sir!

This is like, the third or fourth time that the Lord helped me on the job! Oh, we have a good God! Praise the Lord! Yes!!! :sohappy

Things like this just strengthen our faith

When I read this the other night, it stuck in my mind and I've been thinking about for two days now, lol. Relationship. Mankind's marriage covenant that God gave us, was intended I think to teach us about relationship and covenant with the Lord our God and creator. Men and women come through for each other. They focus their love on each other and devote themselves to each other. (Especially in the beginning, lol). But the Lord's covenant with us even bigger and better than anything man or woman could achieve. The Lord comes through for us too. Usually when we're in a bad way and really need help. That is when most miracles happen. When we need it. He does not forsake us, He comes through for us!

...and it does strengthen our faith in Him. But what is the proper response to an increase in faith? There's a relationship here, and just like man and Wife, when one comes through for the other in some way, a response is made. Appreciation is shown. Thanksgiving and words of praise. Many times we'll do something nice for our spouse in appreciation for them being there for us. Thanks, sweertheart, and so forth. Not always when the Lord helps in a supernatural way though I noticed. The first few times that the Lord helped me, about all I did was to praise the Lord Praise the Lord, then go brag about about what my Lord did for me with a miracle to Brothers and Sisters mostly. I now realize that falls short.

But the Lord's covenant with us is a bit deeper than say, when a Wife does something nice for her husband, that, he finds to be a pain in the backside to do so she does it for him. Then he comes home and she says, it's done, I did it for you. Then he sorta freaks a little bit, in relief, wow really. It's done? (Whew!). Thanks sweetheart, I'm taking you to dinner tonight, or let's go get that thing you wanted, thanks...but we can't take God to dinner. Or buy Him "things", lol. So it would be handled a little differently with the Lord.

So, what would be the proper response? It's right there in scripture. Been there all the time but I had no eyes, lol. When God gives increase, in faith it is a gift, He just did something for us. So the proper response is to give it away.

It is written, that a pond with no current will sit inside you...No, (Lol), rivers of life will flow through you...but to where? To others. We are to be the blessing to others that the Lord is to us. Walking in love towards all people and giving to them, and to the same extent, that we would hope that they would do for us. If someone ask us to go a mile with them, we go two miles with them. SO the Lord gave an increase in faith, so we are to act upon it and allow it to flow through us. In a way that will bless someone. That is the proper response.

I got all that out of one sentence you wrote Sister. Thank you.
