I will have my first ever corned beef buffet tomorrow, at a venue I'll be performing at. The next day instead of driving home I'll continue driving north a little further, into Michigan's upper peninsula, which often has famously epic ski conditions on or about St Patrick's day. This year won't have the huge fresh snowfall that's normal, but it'll be good spring skiing so I'll take advantage of it since I'll be near there anyway.

Corned beef and cabbage features prominently on their buffet menu for tomorrow. I've never seen such a thing before, so it'll be interesting to see what all they have. One person I'll be with grew up in the typical very large Irish family, so he'll be able to vouch for the authenticity of various dishes they serve.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day everybody!! You can expect a pinch if you're not wearing green. (not really) Anyway, check back here later for the Saint Patrick's Day parade. I mean I can't promise anything but usually they post it online and it begins at 1:00 Eastern time. So make sure you all have fun and stay safe today. Tomorrow after church the new Easter thread will be opened and then the moderators can decide whether or not they want to close this thread, or leave it opened for next year. It makes absolutely no difference to me. (that goes for other special threads as well) Also I wish a very happy birthday to my grandmother who is up in Heaven, and my best friend in the whole entire world Matt.
Hey you, yeah you reading this post right now. Happy Saint Patrick's Day.
Also I know that that last video was a little outdated but the message is still strong and stands the same. Here's another one of my favorite Saint Paddy's Day movies.
