say minuses with a lisp and you will laugh.

ah, that reminds me.

There was a German short-story writer, Wolfgang Borchert, who, after they had hanged the main fascists at Nuremberg, wrote a hilariously funny story about a waiter with a lisp; the way he expressed the lisping in German orthography is really funny.

lol. lisping with a german accent. lol. if I had one I could pull that off. hans and frans shall never be the same.

I think the funny story quite made a stir in post-War Germany, what with all the recent grim fascists and city desctuction and rampant prostitution among starving people. (Borchert unfortunately died of war wounds in 1947, though.)

.. I do like the few necklaces I do have, but I'm not dying for more. I do like the idea of a piercing in one ear, eventually. ...

PS: questdriven: Do you for example think you'd ever consider a single tragus piercing instead of / as well as on the lobe? This does seem to be an increasing trend; I don't see that it's specifically good/bad or indifferent; just a personal preference, really, I guess.

Blessings.

IDK.

One of my friends has been piercing her ears herself and has like five in one ear now!:eek I couldn't imagine trying to do that myself. Wow.:clap

Do you mean, you couldn't bear to self-pierce? or you couldn't bear to get doubles/triples put in, or whatever?

Blessings.

Piercing my ears myself. I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing do it.

Yes, I can appreciate what you mean; and some ppl would say, relying on a 16/17 year old in a mall kiosk to do it is riskier than going to a proper piercing/tatt parlor where well trained professionals will do it to a high standard of hygiene and in a very accurate placement according to your wishes.

So you kind of exclude doing it yourself, then (rather than excluding multiples like your friend's that you just mentioned).

Blessings.
