Feedback The Rules

I know that it is the responsibility of all members to read the rules, but I believe it may be helpful to post reminders on the forums from time to time reminding members to check the rules for any changes which may have occurred. For example, recently the statement which says that one cannot imply that another person is not a Christian on the Apologetics Section, has been removed, and I am not sure that all may be aware of this. I still believe that the definition of what is considered to be a person attack against someone may need to be clarified, with maybe examples being given, because it is very subjective and broad. What one may consider to be a personal attack may not be viewed in this way by someone else. Thanks and God bless.

Instead of implying something about the Apologetics forum, maybe you should check the General forum too.

Our rules state that we don't have to give notice of any changes, and that it is the responsibility of our members to check to see if there have been any changes.

We reserve the right to amend any of the above rules without notice. Be advised: It is the members responsibility to check in this forum for any amendments to the rules.

I still believe that the definition of what is considered to be a person attack against someone may need to be clarified, with maybe examples being given, because it is very subjective and broad. What one may consider to be a personal attack may not be viewed in this way by someone else.
I believe that some need to grow thicker skin. If someone feels that they have been insulted then don't respond to that persons post, or respond but don't address the insult.
But if you insult them and they you again.....ect it just keeps it all going.

Let me ask, what responsibility should the members have here?

DkC, I wasn't implying anything, just making a suggestion and this is the suggestion forum isn't it? You can accept the suggestion or not. It's no big deal.

Judy, I understand what you are saying. You are right. You don't have to do anything. I am just making a suggestion to avoid confusion, and help people identify what may be seen as a personal attack on the forums and what may not be seen as a personal attack.

As a member here, I am striving to abide by the guidelines of the site as I post and participate in the forums within those guidelines, as I understand them. I am only asking for clarification to avoid miscommunication. I also understand that as a member, it is okay to make suggestions. The suggestion can be considered or not. It is no big deal. Thanks and God bless.

Take care and God bless.

I say give us more rules and enforce them.
There is too much freedom around here.
People run reckless all over the place.
Let's be known as "More rules are us".
