2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 Peter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Revelation 6:1-8
First seal - white horse, Matthew 24:5

Second seal - red horse Matthew 24:6

Third seal - black horse Matthew 24:7

Fourth seal - pale horse Matthew 24:8,9

The scoffers say we have always had wars and rumors of war, nations against nations, pestilences, and earth quakes and they are right about that, but do not see the greater sign even here in America that all these things are on a greater scale worldwide and not centrally located anymore as the increase is the beginning of sorrows spoken of in Matthew 24:1-13 and Rev Chapter six as I believe we are into the first six seals with the seventh seal getting closer that begins the seven trumpets sounding. Maybe in our life time or not, it is still coming and now is the time to be prepared for the return of the Lord.

They do not see that of antichrist who will promise peace and show great wonders in the sky that could even deceive the very elect if possible as this false prophet will show that of Christ coming in the air and many will see this false christ and take the mark of this beast, bowing down and worship the beast, Revelation chapter 13.

Like you said, there always were scoffers. Of course the latest in hurricanes we've been getting is due to "global warming" according to them and not the judgment of the Lord. But not to worry. At least many are admitting there's an increase like the Lord said. Eventually some really, really weird things will happen that even they can't blame on global warning any longer. And the same can be said for sickness, wars and the like. Alas, even with the massive increase of all this, there will be those who deliberately shut their eyes. Perhaps the ones in Revelation who refuse to repent??

I use various markers to see when the end times will come

1) And overall increase in immorality and godlessness. And by that I don't mean impaling people or quartering them like the olden days. I mean general acceptance of unlawful, immoral behavior and justifying it as if its good (calling evil good and good evil). At least in the past they seemed to know it was wrong but did it anyway. Today, it's "right" and we have to be "tolerant".
2) An overall increase in various acts of nature such as flooding, earthquakes, storms, famine and pestilence. These are the personal judgments of people. It's God warning us of things to come.
3) Worldwide politics -- watching for wars, rumors of wars, and most importantly, the alignment of various national groups which would set the stage for end-time conflict. I noticed (quite by accident?) this is generally the Noahic groups being Semites, Japhethites and Hamitic peoples and lastly, what I will call the Israelite nations. 4 major groups but there's details in each.
4) Lastly, watching for Israel to rebuild their temple. They could start today if they somehow got the OK. Everything is in place, including the training and temple objects, already. Right now the political climate is such that this is not possible, but weird things happen that may make it possible soon.

As to how close, I see #1 filling up fast, and I predict once gen x or earlier are all gone, we will have new generations of brainwashed people for evil and gen Y (millennials) may be codgers by then who will just be put away. They may be one of the last in any sizable group-- and even they now are departing biblical values.
#2 I see a definite increase, but not at its max yet
# 3 I see the "King of the South" nations forming fast. The King of the North nations and a clear leader (aka Antichrist) is not here (or revealed) yet. So that needs some work. As for the Israelite nations, Britain's Brexit was biblically prophesied, as was the last ditch effort to go tough and conservative here in the USA to separate us from the "King of the north" nations. We will eventually be the persecuted. We will be together with Britain and the nation of Israel.
#4 Almost there -- we just need some sort of green light without causing a major upheaval.

I could say something about the religious establishments, too, but I don't want to offend given that's tied in with #1 and #3 anyways. It's part of the worldly system.

I do so agree with both of you and this is such an ignored truth. i have extreme need to be careful of this truth because the knowledge of it can make one ¿to? passionate to get the Gospel to everyone ad very, very passionate about it's defense in Apologetics.

I pray God's outpouring on both of you.

I am with you on most of this and I always say keep your eyes on Israel, especially what is being done with the Dome of the Rock which even now is being refurbished as the Muslims during the peace treaty that is being set up with a false religious system, Islamic Imams, Arab League and the Middle East Quartet that comprises the U.S., Russia, the EU, the United Nations and possibly China that wants in on the peace plans are working on an agreement of who will govern Jerusalem as a peacemaker between the Arab countries and Israel.

The Muslims will give it over to a Luciferian economic, political, military and religious governing system of a powerful worldwide dictatorship. This will give place for the son of perdition to takes its seat and cause a massive falling away from truth as many will be deceived by the lying wonders in the sky and the teaching of a false gospel from its pulpit which will cause many to take the mark of this beast during the time of Gods great wrath during the seven trumpets sounding, Isaiah 14:12-14; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12; Rev 13.

There is so much I could expose, but limited here in how we are allowed to say certain things. I really wish I could say more in warning others, but the ToS prevents me from doing so. I'm in the process of writing a book that details Revelations and still have three more chapters to write. Don't know if I will ever get it published, but this I put in Gods hands and His protection as it will only be His will one way or the other if it gets published.

Revelation 6:1-8
First seal - white horse, Matthew 24:5

Second seal - red horse Matthew 24:6

Third seal - black horse Matthew 24:7

Fourth seal - pale horse Matthew 24:8,9
Hi glory, The above is correct. I do not agree with the rest of your post. I myself do not believe the Church will be on the earth after Chapter 4 of Revelation. After chapter 4, the tribulation is more about Israel and her persecution. I believe the church will meet the Lord in the Air (1 Thes. 4:16-18). I believe this to be the out calling of the Church. Compare (1 Cor. 15:51-53) with (Rev. 4:1-2) and (1 Thes. 4:16). This is the first part of the first resurrection (1 Cor. 15:20-24) The first resurrection. is not a one time event, it is in a certain order. The lord does not set foot on the earth for the church, we meet Him in the air. (Matt. 24:39-41) This is what I believe. The most people saved is during the tribulation. (Rev.7:9-10) by the 144,000 anointed Jews after the Church is with Christ. Notice (Rev. 4:1) Christ says, "I will show you things that must be here after", after what?.....after the church is with Christ. I believe that Rev. 4:1-11 is the church with their savior on the throne.

Where does it say in Rev Chapter 4 that the Church will be raptured up to Christ?

I used to believe in a pre-trib rapture, but changed my mind later. The clincher was that the feast of Trumpets was supposed to be fulfilled at Christ's second coming. Yet, many were saying that the rapture occurred then, then 7 years later Christ would come back -- this made for two fulfillments, not one. Yet the other feasts of the Lord are only prophetically fulfilled one time.

I use to believe also in the pre-trib theories, but found no evidence in Rev chapter 4 to support it nor in any other scriptures they use to support it. It wasn't until I cleared my mind of all those teachings and threw out their books that I did a deeper study in Rev; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and many other OT and NT scriptures that I found that all that are in Christ and He in them (alive and in the grave) will be caught up to the clouds to meet Jesus in the air at the last trump (seventh trumpet sounding) when Christ returns and then He throws the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire making an end to all abominations that have caused desolation.

I self published my book at the KDP wing of Amazon and it is now available there. You just make sure you have a title page, one blank page, and an index and turn it into them as a .doc or I like the .pdf format, decide to publish it in both the Kindle Format, .mobi, and hard paper and decide the prices for both.

Most modern Word Processors will save to PDF. To know about how many pages I also f0rmat the page to 8x5-1/4 but it is not a requirement. If you need more, PM me.

Where does it say in Rev Chapter 4 that the Church will be raptured up to Christ?
In Chapter 4 it talks about the thrones of twenty four elders (Rev. 4:4). Elders is associated with the church. And the thrones represent the responsibility of judging, The church will reign and judge with Christ (Rom. 8:14-17) (1 Cor. 6:2-4). And the rewards to the saints of the church in Scripture are crowns, and we all throw our crowns at the feet of Christ (Rev. 4:10).

Thanks Bill for the info. I still have a ways to go before it is finished. I did try to get my first book published as it was accepted for publishing, but I never heard back from them as I saw others after me getting their books published so I pulled my book from them. I don't want to line the pockets of a secular publishing house even though they need a certain percentage as the proceeds I would hopefully receive is going to a ministry in India I work with.

Rev 1:10, 11 says John was on the isle called Patmos and was only in the Spirit, not literally taken up to heaven as this would go against what Jesus said in John 3:13 that no one has ever ascended to heaven, but He alone. John, when he received all of revelations, was instructed to write everything he saw while being in the Spirit in a book and to give it to the seven churches in Asia.

Rev 4 John was only in the Spirit, not actually in heaven, when he saw a throne and God who sat on it. John now sees twenty-four elders seated around the throne of God. The twenty-four elders in the heavenly sanctuary of God are responsible for worship, for the music of worship, and as such they stand as the gatekeepers of the house of God. The Elders in the Church here on earth are patterned after those in the heavenly realm, 1 Chronicles 24:7-19; 25:6-31; and 26:12-19. These elders are clothed in white raiment which represents Gods glory in them and they have gold crowns upon their heads as they are Gods royal priesthood. The elders are representative of Gods chosen generations that he has called out of darkness into his marvelous light, 2 Peter 2:9 that are asleep in the grave and those who remain alive as Gods witnesses during the seven trumpet soundings before Jesus returns.

It is written to His servants. (Rev. 1:1). It is not written to the self righteous or curious. The Revelation is about Israel's Tribulation......Not the Church. Revelation is written for everyone to understand and is it not we who are His servants as we take His word out into all the world in all truth! There are two types of understanding. That of a carnal logical mind that leads to a bandwagon type teaching and that of knowing the mind of Christ that teaches us all things by His Holy Spirit.

There is one thing we have to remember that is very important. Revelation was given to John in visions as prophecies that had their beginnings in the Old Testament, being fulfilled in the New Testament and yet much to be fulfilled in future events before the great and terrible day of the Lords return.

Revelations is given to all nations and tongues that live throughout the whole world as in Jew and Gentile. Israel is mainly mentioned for that is the era it was written in, but not all of Israel is Gods chosen people. Those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb are joined as a branch with Israel as God is the root of that branch and those who are sealed by His Holy Spirit are His own who find favor in Him. This is why our attention needs to be on those things that are happening in Israel especially Jerusalem as being Gods Holy City.

We, Jew and Gentile, Galatians 3:28, 29, have been given the promise that we will be kept from the hour of temptation which will come upon the world to try them that dwell upon the earth. This is speaking of Gods great wrath to come as many will fear it and take the mark of the beast that falsely promises peace, Rev 13.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

What is it that we are to endure and overcome if it is not trails and tribulations and that of Gods greatest wrath that the world has ever seen nor will ever see again. There are three questions the disciples asked Jesus, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Jesus gives them the answers in Matthew Chapter 24 as this chapter is a precursor or narrative of all the things the body of Christ who are still alive at this time will see and go through that is explained in more depth in the book of Revelations until Christ returns.

Matthew 24: 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Sorry glory, That made no doctrinal sense? The main reason so many people err in doctrine is the fact of mixing Israel and the church together. The Church and Israel have been given different and specific promises from each other. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are about are about Israel and the Son of David, not the Church. The church is only mentioned as of the future (........I WILL build my Church....not, I'am building my church) Matt. 16:17-19.

Acts, the Epistles and Revelation chapters 1 thru 4 are about the Church only, not Israel. From Revelation chapter 5 thru 22 is about Israel's tribulation (Matthews chapter 24) and the bride of Christ (the Church) in the latter part of Revelations.

The ethnic division of the scriptures are (the Jew, the Gentile and the Church) each with specific promises (1 Cor. 10:32)

It says it was written to his servants....why do you say it is not? You can not change things in Scripture without proof that it what you say it is. God never gave us the the responsibility of interpretation of Scripture. He gave us the Holy Spirit to reveal those things to us. You can teach what you want or believe, but without the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You will own it.

Who's doctrine, man or Christ? There is the problem as many believe that of what a man teaches from the pulpit and rejects that of what has already been written because they do not study for themselves to discern truth from error, 1 John 4:1-6.

The Church (body of Christ both Jew and Gentile) was formed on the day of Pentecost and started with the Jews first who received the filling of the Holy Spirit as many Jews were added to the Church that day, Acts Chapter 2. Peter was also given a vision later on that the gospel message was not only for the Jews, but the Gentiles also, Acts 10, as Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles Both Jew and Gentile make up the body of Christ through that of the Spiritual rebirth and baptism of the Holy Spirit, John 3:5. It is no longer the Jew, the Gentile and the Church, but all being one in the body of Christ.

The remnant of Israel that God did save as the generational 144,000 will continue to preach to the Jews during the time of great tribulation (Gods great wrath) for that command has never changed and like Paul those being Gentiles graphed into the branch will continue preaching to the Gentiles, Romans Chapter 11.

I never said it wasn't written for His servants. I said are not all of us His servants, which means you me and everyone else that have picked up their cross to follow Jesus. Sorry, but it is our responsibility of interpretation, not a personal one, so that we will know for a surety of what others teach us by using scripture that the Holy Spirit confirms what has already been written, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Peter 1:20.

This is why scripture needs to be given so we can sit down and study them through the Holy Spirit to know what is truth from error instead of relying solely on what others speak. Think about this, if it wasn't for the inspiration of the Holy Spirit we would not have the letters that make up the Bible. If we read it for what it says instead of picking an choosing then we get the full context of what is written. You have to compare OT with NT and the history of the times the letters were written and how important what it says about future events.

The Spirit doesn't dispute what you posted. But the body of Christ is the Church. The Jew and the Gentile being made into one new man. (Eph. 2:13-15) On this we agree. What we do not agree on is the purpose and position of the church in the Kingdom of God apart from Israel. The Church (body of Christ) are heirs with Christ and adult sons of the Father who will rule with Christ as kings and priest (Rom. 8:14-17) over the commonwealth of Israel during the 1000 year reign of peace. Those saved by the preaching of the 144,000 anointed Jews are not the Church. They are the commonwealth of the nation of Israel and some will serve the Lord in the temple in the New Jerusalem. They will serve Him day and night.
