see these scriptures i cant begin to remember the last time they was used in a message .

people are legalistic in belief. so busy worrying about losing salvation. worry about blaspheme . see none of this is the osas doctrine. its bible folks should be mature enough to say i am secure in Christ. i have a spiritual inheritance kept by the power of God . do we cringe at the thought of by his divine power ( dunamis ] the power belongs to Him .he simply transfers this power to give us the ability to live the Life john 1:
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. it takes growing in Grace and knowledge to under stand the promises correctly dunamis divine power divine authority/energy. for us to get this power we have to be connected to the true vine . we must remember we simply are the branches with out him we can do nothing .who are we in Christ. we are the righteousness sanctified .bought with a price given a advocate

i have doubts they was ever a brother ..but i am not the judge of who goes to heaven and who does not . i am only deliver the message the rest us up to the Holy Spirit ..i will repeat so please read slowly and carefully. this is only a post with scripture what he promises to us who believe. paul covered your question in romans 6.. GOD FORBID

Jesus is our salvation, and He is never lost.


However, we can indeed become lost.

Giving people the message of truth, in hopes they will believe it, and walk in it, is part of the ministry of reconciliation.


Unfortunately their are some promises from Him, in the Bible that are not pleasant.

Are we to ignore these promises?


He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7-8

You started this thread in the Theology Forum. In the Theology Forum we discuss theology and our various differences because in the end we seek the Truth. Not our truth but the Truth. We must remember to present our differing opinions without hostility.

Your assumptive question assumes the “whoever” once had eternal life (was of God) to begin with. Yet the evidence says otherwise.

Another assumptive question ⬇️
Did Abel’s “brother” stop have eternal life?
Or; Have you stopped beating your wife?

not as Cain, who was of the evil one and violently murdered his brother. And for what reason did he violently murder him? Because his deeds were evil and the deeds of his brother were righteous.

A reasonable question based on this Passage would be more like; Did Cain have eternal life abiding in him???

Nope, he murdered his brother.

look when i posted this i posted it under the theme the security of our salvation !!! i also posted this was not a license to sin.. but rather the promises of God. when john wrote .that ye may may know you have eternal life .that is exactly what he wrote that we can know we are saved . a know so salvation... not one time did i post it was ok for a child of God to sin .if a Christian can not be secure enough to say they have security in Christ .then they may not even be saved .Jesus plainly said in john 15 .we are to abide in him. he also said with out him we can do nothing . read Romans 6 the apostle paul covered this or should we remove this chapter also . even those who teach eternal security like charles stanley preach against sin .all though i differ with them .which sin that we commit will send us to hell? after being saved . every body take a deep breath .its ok to say we are secure in Christ , two words eternal and security creates havoc .. no i do not wish to discuss this ..i did all this in Bibical conflict once again it created havoc . i would love to discuss this but there is no way it can be done. with the golden cow of religion gets broke..

for one i am not here to preach 2. are you telling me to leave this forum as i am not welcome? what does the rules say about posting on eternal security ? that is exactly where the post was headed at the last response .
