Exodus Chapter 3 KJV: The context teaches us that the angel of the Lord is God; The Son of God.
Where the context does indeed teach The Angel of The Lord is God (The Son of God, sent with a message of God), sure.

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:1-4
Where are angels mentioned in this context?

1 Chronicles 20:6 And again there was war in Gath. And there was a very tall man there, and he had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in all. He himself was also a descendant of the Rephaim.

Was this tall man a descendant of an angel?

No, you're not wrong....What are you thinking?

Oh. Only that you had said this;

Satan is a proper name of a person, it should be capital A....

That's all, Brother. I respect your words and teachings very much, and so thought for a brief moment that it either wasn't exactly correct, or that I myself must be wrong. Lol Nothing more Brother! Carry on!

Thank you my old friend. I have really liked your posts of late. You show a gentleness and humility that can only be a representation of a close fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ. I commend you for an ever increasing love that you display thru your words for our Lord Jesus. Bravo my good friend.

I can't take the credit Brother. It's true that the Lord gave a small piece of His heart, but I didn't deserve it. All I did was make a little bit more effort than I had been making. A little more reading & meditation, a little more prayer, and the shortest fast in the world. Lol! Not deserving of what feels to me is a huge piece of His heart. Though I know that it isn't huge. It's miniscule. Because He is so much bigger than we can even comprehend. If He had given me any more...I may have died. Couldn't handle it yet.

Nevertheless I appreciate the kind words. You've lifted my spirit up this morning! Thanks Bro!! :yes

  • sons of God is a reference to angels.
  • daughters of men is a reference to women

The sons of God were unaffected by the flood, because they were not human.

There were no human sons of God mentioned in the old testament, except Adam who was not born but created by God Himself?

Do you believe that those in the old testament were able to be born again, so as to become sons of God?

sons of God is a reference to angels.
Where, Biblically speaking? Seems like it's a reference to sons of God through Adam's generations to me. Was Adam an angel or human?

Genesis 5:1-3, 30 This is the record of the generations of Adam. When God created Adam, he made him in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them. And he blessed them. And he called their name “Humankind” when they were created. And when Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he fathered a child in his likeness, according to his image. And he called his name Seth. ...
And after Lamech had fathered Noah he lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

There were no human sons of God mentioned in the old testament, except Adam who was not born but created by God Himself?
You can read about "the generations of Adam" all the way to Noah and Noah's sons and daughters above⬆️.

The sons of God were unaffected by the flood, because they were not human.
Who told you that sons of God were not human? Was Adam not human? Was Noah and his sons not part of Adam's generations (humankind)?

Do you believe Noah's sons who were Adam's sons who was God's creation survived the flood on the ark?

Do you believe that those in the old testament were able to be born again, so as to become sons of God?

Of course.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, having been warned about things not yet seen, out of reverence constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family, by which he pronounced sentence on the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

1 Chronicles 20:6 And again there was war in Gath. And there was a very tall man there, and he had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in all. He himself was also a descendant of the Rephaim.

Was this tall man a descendant of an angel?

Your reply makes no sense, from my statement.

The sons of God were unaffected by the flood, because they were not human, and continued to produce giants, when they came into the daughters of men, after the flood.

Noah was not a son of God.

Noah was the son of Lamech, who was ultimatly a son of man [Adam].

28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.” Genesis 5:28-29

Are you somehow under the impression that a human son of God can reproduce a son of God through natural birth?

Jesus Himself called Himself the Son of Man, and reference to being a son of Adam.

Male human beings are called sons of men.

Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases,
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
Psalm 12:1

Their offspring You shall destroy from the earth,
And their descendants from among the sons of men.
Psalm 21:10

The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
Psalm 33:13

Come and see the works of God;
He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.
Psalms 66:5

Female human beings are called the daughters of men.

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Genesis 6:1-2

Please show us a scripture from the old testament, that refers to an offspring of Adam as a son of God.

The Spirit of God even laid out the genealogy of mankind in chapter 5, as context for chapter 6.

There were no sons of God mentioned in the line of Adam.

This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.

6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.

9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.

12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.

18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.

21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.

28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.

32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Genesis 5:1-32

This scripture does not say Noah was born again.

However you have once again exposed yourself and how far you are will to bend the scriptures to suite your theory.

Anymore than Rahab the harlot was born again for letting down a rope.

I see so you believe there was no reason for Christ to have died on the cross, because if someone obeys God in building an Ark they are born again.

The only way to be born again is through faith in Christ Jesus.

It's funny how you claim that the apostles were not born again before the cross, but now Noah was born again as a son of God, before the cross.

No Brother. :nod Jesus hadn't came yet. We were given the power to become sons of God (John 1:12) after the work on the cross. Adam alone was a son of God because he was a direct creation of God. Not even Eve for she was taken out of man. Angels are direct creations of God in the OT, and Adam himself. Do the Strongs thing on Gen 6:4 it's Bene Elohim.

So Adam was human, but was the first, so was a direct creation, i.e., son of God.

With all due respect.

Noah was anointed before birth, Brother. Enoch says he was born glowing and praising God and it terrified everyone in the house, so they went to Enoch for help understanding what was happening....!!! :hysterical

I'm sorry Brother. I'll be good. :lol

The scripture says he was one of the sons of a giant.

Most likely he was, since the descendants of Anak came from the Nephilim, who were produced from the sons of God and the daughters on men.

  • There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:33
  • And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:33 KJV
  • and there we saw the Nephilim, sons of Anak, of the Nephilim; and we are in our own eyes as grasshoppers; and so we were in their eyes.' Numbers 13:33 YLT

The scripture says he was a descendant of one of the sons of a giant. Rapha.

Giants [Nephilim] were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of men.

4 Now it happened afterward that war broke out at Gezer with the Philistines, at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite killed Sippai, who was one of the sons of the giant. And they were subdued.
5 Again there was war with the Philistines, and Elhanan the son of Jairkilled Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.
6 Yet again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of greatstature, with twenty-four fingers and toes, six on each hand and six on each foot; and he also was born to the giant. 7 So when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David’s brother, killed him.
1 Chronicles 20:4-6

Umm, he bacame an heir of God. And did so by faith:

Hebrews 11:2-3, 7 For by this [faith] the people of old were approved. By faith we understand the worlds were created by the word of God, in order that what is seen did not come into existence from what is visible.

By faith Noah, having been warned about things not yet seen, out of reverence constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family, by which he pronounced sentence on the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

"An heir" means in Messianic usage, one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship: so of Christ, as κληρονόμοςπάντων, all things being subjected to his sway, Hebrews 1:2;
of Christians, as exalted by faith to the dignity of sons of Abraham and so of sons cf God, and hence, to receive the blessings of God's kingdom promised to Abraham:

http://biblehub.com/greek/2818.htm

I see so you believe there was no reason for Christ to have died on the cross, because if someone obeys God in building an Ark they are born again.
You see wrong and state incorrectly what I believe.

Noah created an ark out of reverence to God, not to become born again.

Noah became an heir (meaning one who one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship) by faith.

Giants [Nephilim] were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of men
Yep and a "man" just like the Scripture says he was. And just like the Scriptures say, they died like a man, just like Adam did:

You've not answered:
"Where are angels mentioned in this [Gen 6] context?"

Was Adam a male human being with generations after him?

Adam was created directly by a God and is a son of God.

The burden is on you, to provide a scripture from the Old Testament that shows offspring of Adam were sons of God.

A son of God can not produce a son of God through natural child birth.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:6

All the bending and twisting of the scriptures will not undo this scriptural truth.

Please use scripture.

Sons of God in the Old Testament referred to angels.

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.
Job 1:6

7 When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Job 38:7

nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Luke 20:36

Noah became an heir (meaning one who one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship) by faith.

I can agree with this. Though the cross work was not done yet, he by faith reached into the future and took possession of the promise. Just like the lady in the NT, who said, yes Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs from the Master's table. She did the same thing. Abraham too!! However this is a different subject that has nothing to do with the sons of God in Genesis 6. They weren't sons of God...Bene Elohim, they were sons of God as we are sons of God. Adopted. Grafted in. :wink

That's what I see Brother. I do not necessarily like it, but...it's true. It's a horrible story and angers me at them because I respect the girls!
They're an awesome creation! God is so good to us, and these punks want to take our women. The wrath of God be upon them

:angry :chair 2 against 1 is good! I'm the little mad red guy doing nothing, The blue guy is a fallen angel, and the wrath of the chair is coming for them. That one's God...
