The traditional location for Calvary, where Christ was crucified, is the Church of the Holy Sepulcher located at 31° 46′ 42.4″ N, 35° 13′ 47.1″ E.

A popular alternative location for Calvary is Gordon’s Calvary, which is adjacent to the Garden Tomb and located at 31° 47′ 1.87″ N, 35° 13′ 47.92″ E.

And lately, Ron Wyatt claimed that the Ark of the Covenant is located at Jeremiah’s Grotto, which according to him is also directly below the site where Christ was crucified. It’s location is 31° 47’ 02.07” N, 35° 13’ 50.53” E.

Now the Temple Mount is located at 31° 46′ 40.7″ N, 35° 14′ 8.9″ E.

By simply comparing the longitude positions of these locations, one can see that all sites claiming to be Calvary, are located West of the Temple Mount.

Now the problem with this is that Christ was crucified due East and directly facing the Temple sanctuary.

I know this because Apostle Paul compared the Red Heifer altar with the altar of Christ where He was crucified. This implies that Christ was sacrificed on the same place, namely, the highest point in the sedimentary rock area of the Mount of Olives (which is due East of the Temple), and which I identified in my previous thread titled “Ophel – The Location of King Solomon’s Temple”.

I hope you do not take this on the chin but who cares? If the true location is important, Jesus will point it out when He returns to rule from the Holy City in a few more years.

Extra biblical study can be so enlightening when we, with earnest, dig into the customs at the time Jesus was here the first time but I have yet to see one man explain the spiritual importance of these foolish endeavors Satan is using to keep people out of God's Word.

Actually the Book of Revelation does point both to the location of Calvary as the future site of the 2 witnesses' death, so I consider this part of studying Biblical prophecy.

Luke 23:33 to the place called the Skull............... Looks like a skull to me.
Unfortunately, one cannot witness the exact moment of Christ's death and the tearing of the Temple's curtain at the same time when standing from this location:

Matthew 27: 50
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. 51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open.

This is because the Skull hill/Garden tomb is located North West of the Temple, while the entrance to the Temple (that allows you to peek at its curtain) is facing East. So one has to be due East of the Temple in order to witness the simultaneous death of Christ and the tearing of the Temple curtain.

I'm sorry, I was weak minded for a bit there, of course the Witness' die there and when they do, all here will know it's location. So, you mark, Primary, what I mark, Trash. So tell me me, please the marked importance of studying what you can neither change nor enhance? There are thousands of lessons that have Life Application usefulness in assisting us to live daily the Christian Life we are called to and I, just cannot get the Spirit of God to mark this for me to teach.

Are you saying that people who devote themselves to studying Biblical archaeology are doing the work of Satan and are involved in foolish endeavors? To each his own, I am not actually asking you personally to do anything about my post, or act upon it.

Jesus wasn't cremated.
How do you know what happened to Christ's human body after His ascension?

Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

I laid a grounding for the question I asked and rather than answer by seeking the answer from the Father, you seek to fight with me? Please, don't step into that Abyss.

And as mentioned, this has naught to do with burning the human body of the God in the flesh of a man, Jesus. It does however, in scripture, note that the Body of Jesus was buried in a tomb, not his own, guarded by a detachment of Roman Soldiers that would not allow any "man" inside that tomb. (see the four gospels for the records)

I second the call, Jesus was not cremated.

I was not saying categorically that Christ's body was cremated. I am simply saying there is a possibility that it was, if we are to take literally what Paul said when he compared Christ's sacrifice with the sacrificial animals whose bodies were burned outside the camp.

Aslo, I am saying that the possibility of Christ's body being cremated may have occurred after He was risen and after he ascended to heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

(Philipians 3:21) Nothing of this realm will nor did it enter Heaven but before Jesus ascended He did not want people to sin by touching the carcass He was still using. But from the Bible, as a whole, it is very reasonable to conclude that Jesus did, as we will, receive His Glorified Body.

Regardless, you are trying to pinpoint the location of the crucifixion, not the ascension.

My video pointed to the sedimentary rock area in the Mount of Olives (which looks like a skullcap) as the "Place of a Skull" or Golgotha (also known as Calvary).

Christ's ascension also took place at the Mount of Olives, and He will return at the same spot where He ascended. Thus Christ was both crucified and ascended at the Mount of Olives:

Acts 1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Zechariah 14:1 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. 2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

And every time you post scriptures I see Life Application Lessons for living the Godly Life and still you concentrate on that, which will lead no man to the foot of the cross with their sins. I am not condemning you but you have, consistently, refused to illustrate for us how this teaching of you desire is in obedience to the Great Commission of the last three verses of Matthew, where we are commanded to make Christian converts.

I will go so far as to openly proclaim your failure to answer is because you can't without Self Conviction! Is this a trick used by Satan? I tell you, absolutely! Satan is not stupid, no, he is very crafty. (Gen. 3:1, 2Cor. 2:11)

Should I listen to you like I would listen to an apostle of God? What right do you have to dictate others what they should or should not talk about?
Because I have chosen to follow God and you are exhibiting pride that requires no word from God. That is a very dangerous path to stroll down. I am a sinner forgiven that owes God all of my service and devotion.

It is not I that wants you to change the course of destruction you are being led down but it is the Holy Spirit of God in me that gives me the words to use and the mission to complete. It your life were left up to me, I dealt with thousands like you over the years when I was on stage and you would have not cared for the cold blooded freak I was then because I would have helped you get into Hell to get you away from me.

But when I gave my life to God, I gave all of my life to God, for His service. But listen to me, I pray not! I, on my own am no better than the Kool-Aide Master of Jonestown. But I have offered you the Word of God and it is filled with directions and principals for the walk on the Straight Path that leads through the Narrow Gate into Heaven.

All other paths go to Hell and I do not want you to go there, let alone lead the innocent with you into Hell. You do not need to study me but you do need to read the Bible, from Gen.1:1 to the very last Amen of Rev. 22.

I have read the whole Bible from cover to cover several times already since I was still in grade school. And I have read the entire Bible several times still over the years. You yourself admitted that you are newly converted, so maybe, you should be the one listening to me instead of the other way around. :pray
