Eze 16:9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

God’s children needs to be washed. Like every baby. We are dirty at birth. Sure we have been born again.

Eze 16:6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.

But having human parents and being born from them first we are still carrying that into the birth.

Eze 16:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
Eze 16:4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
Eze 16:5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.

And our conscience is that of the human beings . . .being sinner.

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

And:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

And we need this to be able to have a real relationship with God.

Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Heb 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

This is the power of the sacrifice which Jesus has brought. No more sin.

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The old has passed away. Our new Life, Jesus, is being restored in us. It is a death to the old and a living of His.

2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

And His righteousness is created in us.

1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

So . . the faith of Jesus should come into us.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We live now by the faith of the Son. Because we are now the sons. And the Life of the Son is now our Life. Not us anymore but Him. This washing process is the washing by the power of the blood which God has accomplished for us.

But if we do not do it . . .it will be of no benefit.

Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jas 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Jas 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jas 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

So we start walking in the Life of Jesus. Jesus is God’s word spoken on our behalf. He is the Son of God. And in Him we become the sons of God. Because He is our new Life spoken to us by God there is no difference.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

And God washes us . . by His Word. And thus we live as His sons. Thoroughly clean now. The Life of Jesus. . . .given to us . . .to live. If we can accept God’s washing.

.
Good morning Brother Johan, I’ll just add an idea to yours.
Eph 5:25 . . . Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That He might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Joh 13:8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Joh 13:10 Jesus saith to him (Peter), He that is washed (Rev 7:14 in the blood of the Lamb) needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. (Our feet represent our spiritual walk).

Blessings in Christ Jesus. :wave2

Good Morning? Well with us all around the world I do not know how you manage that. Actually I am off to sleep now . . . so Good night brother Eugene. But good to have some comments. Some understand and can add. Others are still growing into this and will add . .later. And some just read . . .and heard "thunder"

Joh 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
