Like anything, Jason, it's moderation. Too much alcohol (as with food) is a form of gluttony and leads to debauchery. But likewise that does not make food wrong. It's the usage. That's what I'm trying to convey here. I'm trying to get across that it's us, not the object, that is sinful in a nutshell.

im not saying one cant drink, my fil is a drunk.i love him but it is killing him slowly. he nearly died from his poison. he at does drive in such a stupor that he is lucky to make it home.

The problem is not the alcohol. It is the people abusing it. I don't drink myself as I don't see anything positive from it. It potentially makes you tired, sick, lazy, fat, and dumb. No thanks. It's a bad habit. Sure in small amounts every once in a while doesn't hurt. The problem is that us primitive childlike humans as a whole cannot be trusted with it. It's just like our nutrition. We can have anything we want. The healthiest food, drinks, and supplements. What do we do? Eat really unhealthy, unbalanced diets, take in way too many calories, and don't exercise. There is a projection in the near future of one in three Americans ending up with type 2 diabetes because of this. Alcohol cannot be taken away because we already have it. Trying to take it away just caused crime syndicates to rise to power. Cigarettes and alcohol are here to say. That is why the government doesn't want any other drugs to be legalized. Marijuana for instance is being fought because of this. Even though it doesn't make violent abusive people that kill people with cars like alcohol, and is smoked much less amounts and doesn't have hundreds of added chemicals thus causing less lung damage than cigarettes, once it's let out to the public, they won't be able to take it away.

anyway, the numbers aren't anywhere near something that makes 1/4 of the world sick, today. (not counting mercury).

and i meet several persons every day affected by it, seeing doctors for years, and never ever told by their doctors.
(no, it's not immunizations, though that is much much worse than alcohol, and it may be a close runner)..... (to) .....

and it is even prescribed for babies/(and some older people) to use instead of a better known health stealer .....

These things you say may be true His_nee (Jeff). The problem is that if what you say is not supported by the government, media, and in this case, the official medical associations, then what you are saying is a conspiracy. Conspiracy information is not looked upon kindly on this forum.

no worries. no conspiracy. it's world wide known. totally..... (well, for anyone who looks)(I found out and I wasn't even looking! my boss in pharmacy told me directly what to avoid to avoid a severe dysfunction - and at the health food stores the drug salesman let the employees know.... )

I don't think you realize the problem. It's not what is true. Our masters are not disseminating the information that you are providing. That makes it conspiracy information. I'm not the police here. I'm just letting you know that the moderators will come for you if you push it too far. You see our masters have provided us with a framework to be self-governing in this manner of angrily opposing any information not giving to us by appointed sources of authority.

and it is the doctors who have 'disseminated' the information. first before anyone else did. since 1939 at least, and I learned while in pharmacy school ..... a while back....

what is an average person? is it someone who can read ? possibly half of the people i meet daily, or maybe just a third, know of this, and about one tenth to four tenths are doing what they can about it to avoid being drugged routinely. anyone with access to the internet can easily find out more than they can read in a lifetime, of course,
and can modify, change, alter, or seek God for help with their life so that they can avoid all of the illnesses that plague the rest of mankind who don't care.
i guess there is the average person who cares, and the average apathetic person who doesn't care...... should we differentiate ?

I just went to the top of the page to double-check what the thread topic title/op was/is.... "health/nutrition" it says.
About 90% , not just half, of the people interested in health and nutrition know of what I speak --- it is very widely known publicly. Thank you though for your observations too.
