Forever? Well then, I can bring the verse where my Lord Jesus walked on water to this thread in a mere moment. Matthew 14:22-33.
If Buddha's walk has been around forever, when Buddhism is only about 2550 years old, it should be very easy for you to find the story. I await with great anticipation our post providing that.
im not even an expert on Buddhism and i know the story. are you saying it never happened, that the buddhist copied the story from the west?

Many a good man will roast in the Lake of Fire because they did not seek after the Only True God found in and through the Holy Bible.

Matthew 7:21-23New King James Version (NKJV)
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

so if all bibles were gone the Most High would cease to exist?

I'm asking, not saying, you to show the story of the Buddha that has been around forever. You brought it up.
i wouldnt know where to get it for you. have you really not heard this story?
Did the Apostles in their journey to deliver the good news of salvation carry a new testament?
they could carried scripture. i dont think they needed them. oral traditions were sacred in those days. im sure they would have been trained in them.

No, I've never heard that story of the Buddha walking on water.
I went looking for it in a search engine. I found this.
"Lord Buddha's view on levitating upon water...

One day Lord Buddha and a group of monks were waiting next to a river until the boat arrives. A monk or a sage from another religion saw this and he immediately levitated off the ground and crossed the river. This was a mocking.

Lord Buddha asked "How much does it cost to reach across on this boat?". That is how much his practice is worth.

Lord Buddha said this because the ability to levitate can save him from the fee but that ability does not help him at all on his long journey of "Samsara".

Lord Buddha saw Miracles as a non important thing and never encouraged anyone to follow them. Because Lord Buddha's work is not to teach people how to do miracles, Lord Buddha knew that there is no need of Buddhism to give people super powers because those existed before Lord Buddha even though Buddhism unlocks some unique ones of its own." http://buddhism.stackexchange.com/q...walk-on-water-was-jesus-trained-as-a-buddhist

True. They were proficient in the oral delivery of the good news.

Ask a pertinent question without perversion and I will respond in kind. Nobody here saied a word such as that but, thinking about it, if the Bible ceased to be here, there would be no Cod, only false gods.

I used to be a Buddhist.

I do not dislike the teachings of Buddhism. In my opinion, Buddha is an enlightened being who has transcended normal humans. There are many people in Asia who pray to him as God.

There are also many types of Buddha's. There's also the Goddess of Mercy,
Bodhisattva Guan Yin, who many prayed to. And there are many other Gods as well such as The Monkey God who are linked with the Buddha which will make you a Taoist if you pray to them as well.

As mentioned, I don't hate the teachings. Buddhism is peace loving and that's one reason it can survive the oppression of the Chinese government and past dynasties. Buddhists are more stoic (less passionate as well).

I prefer Christianity though :tongue
