Hi Sister @Heisris2018. If there were a way to even save one life, is there anything we shouldn't do to inconvenience some? I don't know if you're ever heard of Mary Mallon, or better known as Typhoid Mary, but she became known as someone that infected three other people who died of that dreaded disease. Her fate? Being locked up, and I think her confinement lasted until she died.

Do you think that if a person is found with flu, we could just shoot & bury them instead of locking them up? :sohappy
 
Ummm...sorry,..I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about lol. However it's just like I was telling my mother yesterday. When it's my time to go to Heaven I really want to go. It's not what happens after death that frightens me since I personally believe in Jesus and that I will live it's death itself. So I want to enjoy this life as much as I can and all that it has to offer me and that includes avoiding the Flu as much as possible. But I certainly don't fear death because Jesus is the one who defeated it. :cross I really, honestly believe that.
 
Yeah, a bad season watching my co-workers all around me dropping like flies. Well, not everyone, but most "had something" even if it wasn't the flu it was a cold, or that stomach bug or whatever. I'll have to ask them what else was going around--not altogether sure myself. Never saw a year so bad. There's all types of advice but the best I've heard is the simple washing the hands often, keeping yourself nourished well for a good immune system, and hopefully got some sunlight during the summer as vitamin D is the best natural protection (and probably the best altogether) against the flu. Also lots of rest and avoid stress. Not a good time to start a diet, BTW. Eat up and get lots of nutrients. When one diets they feel low to begin with and then the immune system may falter as well.

Maybe,.. but a lot of the times these are the same people that have told us in the past that the world was going to end. Like since we were at the start of the new Millennium. The Bible on the other hand clearly states that not even Christ Himself knows the exact time when that's going to happen. I have more faith in God than mankind to be perfectly honest with you. After all, He never lies to us and He never changes His mind a million bazillion times.
