Remember that Tricare and military pensions come from the same treasury that Social Security checks and Medicare do. If the treasury is empty, neither can be paid.

Yet ss can't work without a central bank fiat system nor even with a central bank and on Gold.ss,pay outs Exceed the Dod budget!

Here's the thing. The way it is set up now, bankers reap most of the benefit from credit expansion caused inflation. If bankers were forbidden to create credit, then the government could fund Social Security with newly printed money (inflation). As it is now, bankers are confiscating buying power from the government, especially states, as well as from the people.

Inflation is confiscation of resources. Right now bankers are confiscating resources to enrich the financial sector. Honest money would let the people finally start to move forward. Honest money would also prevent bankers from taking resources away from government. Alternatively, a printing tax (inflation) could be used to fund Social Security instead of the payroll tax, but only if bankers are forbidden to create credit.

The GOP may have just taken affordable health insurance away from many near elderly. The CBO expects an additional 13 million people to be uninsured because of what the GOP has just done. Having health insurance improves health on average.

The US is the only civilized nation in the world that abandons their citizens like this, thanks to the GOP. All other first world nations cover all of their citizens, and even third world nations like the Philippines and Mexico offer affordable insurance to their citizens.

If Mexico affords better insurance why would they risk coming here with babies in utero.I live in a high immigrant area.

I.also know before this under the old rule abd taxes .if I were to loose insurance my wife being disabled doesn't get coverage under medicare until she paid six months of premium.Obamacare didn't help those on this stuff .

They provide better afffordable insurance, but there are few good paying jobs.

The ACA didn't address Medicare for SSDI. That needs to be improved separately.

The tax bill’s $1.5 trillion cost also preys on seniors, triggering spending cuts of 4 percent annually for Medicare, the federal health program for those 65 and older.

The GOP is also targeting seniors. 90% of the population will go backward, and the top 10% will go forward. The GOP is feathering the nests of the rich, while abandoning the majority.
