Hi Everyone,

I thought I would add my photo for anyone who thinks 62 years is an old woman. I know I am older than all of you here, which makes me the matriarch, so respect your elders, okay? :smt043

Hey there! Thanks for posting your pic. It's so nice to match someone's post to a visual. :biggrin

Oh, btw, 47... 48 in Feb. but still 29 and holding...by the grace of God, of course!

Wow! you look fantastic.....and so thin....do you exercise a lot and what on Earth do you eat to stay so small......no Kentucky Fried Chicken in your diet, I'll bet. :)

Hi Vic,

hi eve,

nice to meet you and thanks for the compliment...first of all I am a vegetarian, not vegan, and I eat no red meat or chicken or fish...Also I power walk a 10 minute mile every morning, for 5 miles, (my doc says that's pretty good for a 62 year old broad like me) :-D

I'm 5'3", small build, so I don't choose to carry too much weight anyway...I have weighed about 105 most of my life...(and only gained 18 pounds when I had my daughter 38 years ago) Back then the doctors didn't let young women gain a lot of pregnancy weight; that's the hardest kind to lose.

I also try to maintain a good attitude about life, not to say I haven't had my share of ups and downs, believe me in 62 years I've been there and back. But a good attitude has been proven to slow down the aging process. Me and my husband of 40 years are still standing, so we have a lot to be thankful for. (He's 80 and survived kidney cancer ten years ago)

Sorry to have gone on so much; thanks for the nice words. My running years have taught me that everything is just for one day, so that's how I live my life under that tenet...in the moment, for that's really all any of us have.

Thanks for stopping by...

hugs,
zuzu

ZuZu you look fantastic! Your kitty looks cute....I adore siamese. I used to have a lilac tortie point named Bella.

HELLO ZUZU...

Good going, ZuZu! The only way to stay young and trim is excercise and watching what you eat. Of course-having a kitty too-that always helps.

Lovin
