Sort of nostalgia that draws you into the scene and makes you want to be in it, the quiet twilight atmosphere. Surreal might be a better word than pain. As if the fading light is a world unto it's own.

I have too, long associated sunsets with the end of life, for example I have a picture of my dog walking into the sunset the day before she died, so that possibility along with the title on this one made me think of that a bit.

Thank you for your honesty in sharing your heart with us.
I too miss my beloved dog 'Luke', a red and tan Kelpie.

For me, the photo is a life long wish that can never happen, siblings.
The image caught is a heart felt missing for the love of a sister or brother.
So in a way, I too feel the nostalgia and pain. :hug
