No man has led me to God, nor can anyone say that they have saved me. For a preacher is sent with the word of God, and it is that WORD that called me (Rom. 10:13-15). You must be born again.
For no man can KNOW God, except by the Spirit of God (1 Cor. 2:10-12) (1 Cor. 12:3). Then, no man would say, I follow after this man's teachings, or you need to read this book, but instead, you are taught by God. (John 6:44-46).
You, who would draw someone to another mans teachings should seek after the word and Spirit of God. It in itself is sufficient. And, if it is not sufficient for you, You need to seek God and put Him at the head of the body instead of leading Him around. If this offends you, then you need to examine where you have placed God in your life. We are not Israel, nor do we live under the Law of Moses or the promises made to Israel, but we are the body of Christ, He being the Head of that body. (Col. 1:17-19) Please study the Scriptures.

Hi Douglas my friend. I agree most heartily with your statements. Can I go a little deeper with my Hebrew Teacher? Here is Alan Horvath's web site....

Why do we need other sources when we have the one an only book (Bible) that contains all the knowledge of God that He wants us to learn through His Holy Spirit teaching us all things.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

As a little boy I believed in the historical Jesus that is written in the New Covenant. But that only made Him my Saviour. It was near 40 years later, when on Sept 26. 1982 11:00 pm I came to allow Him to come into my life to become my Lord. The resurrected Christ, started an intimate relationship from that day forward.

On that night, He said to me...." My Son you have believed in Me ever since you were a little boy, but you have never invited Me into your life! Will you invite Me to come into your life to become your Lord?" I answered... " but I never heard you had to be invited into ones life? " " It is the only way I come!" Was His reply. " Now will you invite Me in?" and of course I did.

But Chopper rather than waiting for our heavenly bodies, lets continue to be formed, into His image and likeness, in the now. Amen
