Here is an interesting thought (at least to me, anyways): Being a father now for the sixth time I continue to wonder whenever I change my kids' diapers, why is it that we use moistened towelettes to wipe their bottoms when they are poopy, but we use dry wads of paper to clean the very same thing off of our nethers?
Of course one possible negative aspect is you can't (or at least shouldn't) flush baby wipes down a toilet, as they do not fall apart the way toilet paper does. But I imagine we would be that much cleaner down there if we did start using wipes, instead of toilet paper.
As a parent you tend to ponder these things while avoiding inhaling the fumes of the latest industrial accident that occurred in your two-year-old's pants.
