Hey Gospels

You have shown nothing to support your claim. Personal attacks and attempted insults do not help your case either.

To ignore the evidence is to be willingly ignorant.

All so called Gospels are not created equal.

Jesus said there would be false teachers and false christ, the apostles warned the early chuch time and time again about a fasle gospel.

As a matre of fact the bible teachess that those who preach another gospel are acuresed.

You can not prove your point, but calling poeopl names, or saying I choice not to adhere to this or that.

This only proves your rebelion against God.

The fact is that the bible alone is the word of God, it is backed by huge amounts of evidence to testify to that fact.

However the bible does teach that men who professed them selves to be wise became fools, beucase they in their own vain thought have denyed God, and prefere there own ideas.

Sorry but the gnosis is just a satanic lie, and you are eating it up like candy.

2 Corinthians 12: 1-4
1: It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2: I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3: And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4: How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Revelation 4: 1-2
1: After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2: And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Revelation 21: 9-10
9: And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10: And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

God's people were caught up in the Spirit, it was God or his angels who prompted it but in occultic astral/soul travel, it's people who are seeking after the experience. Those who practice astral travel do just that, practice it, seek after it, and are taught it from a book, course or others.

The difference being that of the Holy Ghost while the other is controlled by spirits that are not of God. An OBE not controlled by the Holy Ghost is dangerous but so is any spiritual experience outside of God's leadership. Without the Holy Ghost leading us there is nothing stopping evil spirits from coming in to invade people.

God knows our hearts and when the desire for power becomes more important then his will, it is not of God.

As far as the other/lost books spoke of here, they have been deemed forgeries. A big deal has been made about the 66 books in the Bible which it should be noted that it's NOT the 666 books of the Bible. Satan and his agents will have to find a lot more of the so called lost books before making that assertion.

I find it amazing that people can't see past the "other books" or the doctrines of men. Satan has been changing God's word since the garden of Eden which most fail to see and to learn from.

I would add that the men whom call gave a vision to, that is was always to serve the purpose of God, and never the man.

And it is out of the ordinary that is happens.

Just wanted to point out that what these guys look to do, is not what was happening in the bible, but a conterfiet of it.

Other wise everything you said was right on.

I just read a Christian link (Measuring Stick) that said AP is Satan-based or fallen angels, inducing this capability on people. This is not for Christians.

I have another question, we know God's angel's have been earthbound, coming to prophets and others to give messages from God. The presense of demons is true but do you think stories people tell about seeing good angels in a time of need is true? Sorry to change the subject but I was lead to both questions. AP and earthbound angels.

Ecclesiastes 12:6-7
Remember him-before the silver cord is severed,
or the golden bowl is broken;
before the pitcher is shattered at the spring,
or the wheel broken at the well,
and the dust returns to the ground it came from,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

You do not leave your body

I have something to say here... about obe's just to clear up a few things.
you do not actually leave your body. Astral projection i do not really believe in and i have no thoughts on that. In an obe, wich is natural, your concious mind seems to PROJECT ITSELF outside the body. So really its your mind or your awareness leaving you, not your soul. It is not spiritual travel of any kind.

-its a psychic thing

Some say this was the state of conscienceness (sp?) Apostle John was in when taken on his journey with the angel to observe the prophecies in Revelation.

I think AP can be without permission and used for the wrong reasons.
I also think it can be allowed and God-induced for a special purpose.

There are accounts of Christian monks and contemplatives who have had "ecstatic" experiences while in meditation. I have only read that they have had these experiences but have never read of the experiences themselves, other than they are similar to John's revelation.

I have found that although different words are used in the Bible, some of the spiritual experiences within Christianity and other Eastern religions are similar. But there is a line that should not be crossed as there is a fundamental difference in the practices, namely, the reason why they are done.
