I'm not really into this anymore. God done a work in me, that is good.

I used to not care, but it doesn't bode well with God's spirit.
 
First of all I don't go to movies for that takes care of that.
1 Corinthians 10:31 31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Yeah me too. Ever since the Colorado theater shooting I haven't gone back. And I made a promise never to go back to the theater. Dvd's is good enough for me.

I am not going into crowds any longer.I did not think I would ever see the day I would say that.I take enough risks just being on the road in my car.

i hear ya. yeah a good dvd in my own house with a good cup of tea works. what do u think. :)
 
I's been quite the while since I've seen a movie at a theater. Much of what's presented just doesn't interest me. Of the few movies that did interest me, they didn't last long enough at the theaters for me to get in to watch them. :sad
 
I dont think Ive been to a theater in over a decade I always prefer movie nights at home ,Love my netflix.Not crazy about violence but I love a good action movie heck I love movies period but I like them not so extremely R.When a movie can pull off some good action or horror without going super sonic R on me I love it.
 
Alot of people are doing Netflix.It is cheaper.Movies are expensive by the time you buy the tickets,pop corn,candy or drink.

true but buying a system that can handle online streaming and using a big screen to show online movies isn't much cheaper.i think in a decade, movies in theaters will be gone along with mail and newspapers.

that's life, im working in a field that is dying. do you think that I could go work for a privately owned utility? NO, fpl doesn't have meter readers. duke energy idk, the other grids that do are government owned ones. and I would loose money going to the county.

I googled the one that was used near me . back in the early 90's it was still used. I cant see it easily then but I know the screen still stands as a car dealer bought the lot and made it a parking lot and new showroom and left the screen for memorabilia. it is now vacant. that is one of two that I know were used and another is gone totally and was used up to the mid 80's. I can find older topos of both in their day. or just show the easiest one that looks like a base ball field from my town.
