With only 145,234 award shows, it's easy to lose focus.

The Academy Awards, in my opinion, is THE award to win.

Who do you vote for and why?

I say Sideways...funny, witty and REAL. The two guys talk like two real guys talk to each other, including the cussing, the kidding, and the realities of life.

One of the most "real" movies I've ever seen.
 
I had to vote for Brutus, I'm not familiar with those movies.


P.S. You should have said string cheese instead of ramon noodles.
 
I haven't seen any of them. The storyline to the Aviator is interesting to me, but I can't stomach the thought of sitting through 2 hours of DiCaprio....

Okay, I think out of all those movies I would pick the Punisher. :wink:

God doesn't need a movie that gets an academy award. The Passion, whether you liked it or not was a spectacular cinamatic work. However, the Book is soooo much better.
 
I picked "Finding Neverland" because that is the only one that I've seen.

I voted for Brutus because well I haven't seen any of the movies and I could care less about the Academy Awards.

After all I'm still not happy that Russell Crowe did not get Best Actor for A Beautiful Mind. Denzel Washington is no doubt a terrific actor but Training Day was a bad movie and Denzel's acting was not all that good in it...heck he should have gotten an Academy Award for some of his other roles but not Training Day (Ok So I guess I did care but now for sure I don't care about the Academy Awards).
 
The reality of my life does not include cussing - or wild sexual adventures, for that matter. SO I don't see how that aspect would make Sideways a good movie. The only one I've seen is Ray, which I enjoyed, but I don't think it's a Best Picture winner. So I voted for Million Dollar Baby.

I didn't know Brutus was up for an Academy Award... Best Use of String Cheese in an Animated Film?
 
I voted for Ray. I saw none of the movies nominated, but at least I know what Ray is about. :-D
 
I voted for Ray even though I've yet too see the entire movie. :tongue
 
ROBBERY!

I soo won the Oscar for best picture. Look at the Votes. Million Dollar Baby doesn't even come close. Ray was close, But I still won. I want a recount! :evil: :evil: :evil:
 
Brutus you've got to come down out of the clouds and get a grip on yourself.
Ramon noodle surveys does not make you an oscar winner!
