Jese says that his command is to 'love each other' and that the whole law can be explained with two top laws that are more important than others: love God with everything and love your neighbor as yourself. In the parable of the Good Samaritan he teaches that those in need are our neighbors.

There are also specific commands for apostles when he appoints the 12. :)

JLB,

I didn't respond as I didn't want to engage with both you and Mitspa at the same time and having to many posts will further confuse the issue. There would be no use to have a fruitless discussion that will produce nothing. More often then not, threads on this issue turn into person bashing, questioning one's salvation, etc, etc. I'm to busy, and would rather spend the little time on my computer talking with people who have an open mind about these and other things. There are some things I have knowledge about, and other things I don't. But I'm knowledgeable enough to know that having a discussion on this topic, will yield nothing. Both for me and you.

Blessings

It is good that you grasp one thing and also not let go of the other ; for the one who fears God comes forth with both of them. Ecclesiastes 7:18 NAS

I agree with someone who desires to live righteously before The Lord.

I would never encourage anyone to "break" any of God's commandments.

Paul explained it to us this way -

Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? 2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. 4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another--to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. Romans 7:1-4

I ask you to consider what Paul wrote to us as a Pharisee of Pharisee's.

Perfect in the Law, Blameless.

Yet...

Jesus said it this way -

39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

... But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

The balance here is that I am using scripture to show that Life is not in the scriptures but in Him!

Eternal life is Knowing God!

After reading that 40+ page debacle of a thread, I will no longer respond as any further discussion would most likely go the way of that thread. Not interested in circular arguments that produces nothing but hostility and resentment. So lets just leave it at that please.

Funny thing I have noticed about those who "claim" to keep the law of moses? They seem to enjoy warning and condemning others , using fear and and trying to intimidate others. Often using rude and insulting tatics to put others into bondage to the ministry of death and condemnation, the 10 commandments ( 2 Cor 3)
But when a real minister of righteousness confronts them on their false doctrines, and bring the weight of the scriptures upon them as they attempt to do to others ,they attempt to hide behind some mask of religious humility and swelling words that make no biblical sense. It is my opinion, that the righteous in Christ must begin to cast out the bondwomen and her children, and bring fear upon the spirit of fear and bondage.
