How to remove wild game taste from venison. Quick and easy.

I have tried it different way with different people making it.I just do not like it.My mom didn't like it either.

What are your favorite things to make Lewis?Do you have a specialty?I make an awesome homemade baked beans.They are so good.I have to watch my sodium and a can of beans at the store has a huge amount of salt.This way I can limit the salt.The recipe calls for more bacon than I put in them.I just put enough for flavor.

Also I love Mac and Cheese.I have an awesome recipe for Patty LaBelle's Mac and Cheese.Some people don't like it but this is good.It has 5 cheeses in it.

Since I was a cook for ARAMARK, I get into a lot of things, I am good with meats, fish and poultry and crabs and lobster.

Elk steak.........Just about out though. Didn't get one this year in archery so the 7mm has to come out in a couple of weeks.

Elk steak, with morel mushrooms........Get to pick these fresh from the forest fires of the previous year. We can dry them to save em.

Elk steak,morel mushrooms and fresh huckleberry pie......This year was a bonanza for the huckleberries in Montana. We picked for over a month around here and harvested many gallons of them between all of us.

That is a true Montana made meal!

We ate squid before they named it calamari

If ya dont feel like pounding the calamari

chop it mix with
bread crumbs ( sourdough is best)
salt pepper
chopped onion
egg for binding
fry up some calamari cakes
spiced to your liking..

Never had squid, I saw some octopus at the fish market the other day, and I was tempted to try it.
