I am now reading his book Inside the Revolution.
Excuse me if this book has already been mentioned (I admit that I haven't read all posts in this thread).
His other books have been intriguing and interesting, to say the least.

This book should be read by every Christian. (if you can find the book - there were only 2 left on the shelf)
It has opened my eyes to a different perspective relative to the current events surrounding the Islam Extremists.

Basically, he begins with the events pertaining to the Six-Day War of 1967, when the Israelis were able to win back the lands in the Sinai and Golan Heights, as well as to unify Jerusalem. This event was a devastating blow to the Arab world, and is referred to as "The Setback". From there, he gives a detailed account of how the Fundamental Islamists have developed into the terrorists groups of today.
What drives them, how do they think, and what is their ultimate goal? You'll be shocked, sobered, educated, and "jolted into reality" as the events behind the scenes unfold - including failures of the CIA, the lack of intelligence gathered, the botched rescue plans, the lack of leadership in high places - including the White House, and our failure to understand the mind of the jahidist, especially the suicide bomber. The book gets to the heart of what Islam really is. With stunning, scary, almost unbelievable, yet substantial facts, the author verifies the main thrust of the aims of the radicals - death and mutilation to the "infidels", that is, Christians and Jews. Why would doing this be an "honor" and how did this evil state of affairs develop? How widespread is it? What do they want to do next? It is unthinkable! We had better wake up and soon! Read this book and see for yourself. We are at war, and most Americans don't know it.

Oh yeah. I sat down at a book store and flipped through it. It's clear that the Lord is doing His work in the Middle East, and it might be the last frontier that the Gospel message needs to penetrate. Then hopefully the Lord will come.

As for me, I just finished reading Charles Dickens' Great Expectations this morning. It's a very humbling book that every snobish high school and college student should read.

I'm in Matthew right now. I'm reading it rrrreeeeeeaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyy ssssssslllloooooowwwwwwlow. Almost done with "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. Next is "The Cost of Discipleship" by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Just finished Humble Apologetics by John G. Stackhouse Jr. Very recommended.

Started The Silmarillion. :crazy

I just finished a biography of Mussolini. Fascinating. The guy used brutality and strong-arm tactics to straighten out Italy, and even Winston Churchill admired him. Then he started invading other nations and destroyed Italy.

Finished The Silmarillion, started Unfinished Tales.

I'm on the second of a 3 book series by Francine Rivers. It is called "Echo In The Darkness". I love this series! It is set in the days not long after Jesus' crucifixion in Rome, Jerusalem and Ephesus. Really good Christian fiction.

WOW! What a book! This is a MUST READ for every Christian.
I'm almost finished. (I stayed up most of the night last night - I've got a few pages to go)
Sobering, astonishing, remarkable - are insufficient words. This book shook me to the core.
I knew almost all the passages he used and had seen them in various settings, but I'd never been able to put the pieces together - until now. I believe God has used John Price to wake us out of our slumber.
Why didn't I have the discernment to see this before now? Suddenly it is all clear, and now I am faced with the decision of what I going to do about it.

Here's a short video. Its called The End of America

I'm currently enjoying a bit of Stanley Hauerwas - especially his stuff on the church. Alongside him i'm reading Jurgen Moltmann's "Crucified God". I've just purchased and can't wait to read Miroslav Volf's "Exclusion and Embrace" which offers a unique take on reconciliation and restoration, particularly helpful for conflicts where there really is no clear right and wrong side (the Palestinian and Israeli conflict for example).

There's plenty else i'm reading at the moment but it all tends to unfortunately blur into a single grey mix.

Witnessing To Dracula by Billy Ng. Very very funny and very very encouraging.
