I am now reading his book Inside the Revolution.
Excuse me if this book has already been mentioned (I admit that I haven't read all posts in this thread).
His other books have been intriguing and interesting, to say the least.
This book should be read by every Christian. (if you can find the book - there were only 2 left on the shelf)
It has opened my eyes to a different perspective relative to the current events surrounding the Islam Extremists.
Basically, he begins with the events pertaining to the Six-Day War of 1967, when the Israelis were able to win back the lands in the Sinai and Golan Heights, as well as to unify Jerusalem. This event was a devastating blow to the Arab world, and is referred to as "The Setback". From there, he gives a detailed account of how the Fundamental Islamists have developed into the terrorists groups of today.
What drives them, how do they think, and what is their ultimate goal? You'll be shocked, sobered, educated, and "jolted into reality" as the events behind the scenes unfold - including failures of the CIA, the lack of intelligence gathered, the botched rescue plans, the lack of leadership in high places - including the White House, and our failure to understand the mind of the jahidist, especially the suicide bomber. The book gets to the heart of what Islam really is.
