Getting stuck behind a slow driver on a two lane highway drives me insane!!! I can understand road-rage although I try to stay calm. :shocked!

People who highly esteem others based on their intellectual abilities and education. I have had to recently separate from those types. It is so sickening.

False converts: Those who have been made to think they are saved because of a creed or repetitious prayer, yet they come to forums promoting stuff even a worldly person would know better than to promote. It "peeves" me to no end to see Jesus' name stomped through the mud because of man-made demon inspired liberal religion.
The sad thing is these types think they are saved so it is just about impossible to lead them to the real Jesus. :crying :mad :crying :mad :crying

Man, I like that one too! :lol Rick, add this to the list of smileys, please. :salute

how long can a post be, I have so many :)

1) atheists/christian haters quoting bible verses that they have no idea what it actually means (just repeat what other hat christian websites say)

2) atheists/christian haters thinking they are intelligent/ first person to think of something that is supposedly THE thing that proves christians are wrong

3) Drivers that don't signal, drivers that are too lazy to change lanes or move to the slow lane

4) 'Know it alls' (non or even christians) that sermonise to you even if you show no interest and who obviously in what they reveal don't know anything.

5) The above who find their way onto forums and then love being confrontational and then think they are cool or the 'hard man' by being disrepectful or rude to others

6) Waiters that ask if you want a dessert when you are not half way through your entree

7) Restaurants that you have to ask for cutlery (silverware/flatware) :o

8) People that come and sit right in front of you/beside you in a cinema when it is empty

and me -

1) when I get grumpy, know I am - so get more grumpy

2)Happy chirpy people when I am not, gets me grumpy then above happens

3) when I don't feel happy clappy in church and am surrounded by over zealous worshippers makes me feel that they think they are more spirtual, when in fact they probably don't - just feel close to the Lord and it's me that sinning for thinking that and not concentrating on God so number 1 happens!

How about the 'normalcy' of using profanity in public?

Words that would've gotten my face or other body part smacked had I used them when I was growing up. It especially bugs me when I hear parents using terrible language around, or worse, to their small children. Like the time I overheard a mother yelling to her toddler, "You get your (bleeping 'rear end') in here right now!" :o

You know that child is going to grow up thinking that kind of language is perfectly normal. Like the babysitter I had when I was young, who always used a certain word when she got mad. Well, one little boy copied what she'd said, and guess what she did? Yep, smacked his behind and confined him in a crib. Not a teenager, either- this woman was old enough to know better.

What really bothers me even more than the worst of the 'bad words' you hear every day though is using the Lord's name in vain. I cringe whenever I hear that! I think every Christian should. So many people, even some Christians, use God's name so flippantly.

Oh yes, I have other pet peeves, but this was one of the biggies.

you are so right! I must be so conditioned to it I never thought of putting it on my list :verysad

And yes 'christians' especially I have found catholics (maybe it was only the ones I knew?) who takes God's name in vain all the time - want to scream to everyone 'commandment number 6' you who are supposed to be christian should know better!

The only things that really bother me is people who are negative (that used to be me), people with bad attitudes and people that constantly pick apart others.

Do you have any pet peeves? I do. My biggest pet peeve is when people say "meh" on AIM. Fortunarely, I haven't seen it in a while! :)

Hearing people say "me and ....." as in "me and Joe are going to the store". My first grade teacher, Mrs. McFarland, taught us to always put others before you, even in grammar! :nod

I hate it when someone puts the milk jug back in the fridge with about 3 teaspoons of milk in it! :nono

It really chaps my hide to have someone pull out in front of me while I'm driving and there is no one behind me. Sheesh, couldn't they have waited the couple of seconds it would have taken for me to pass instead of causing me to have to slow down while they get up to speed? :grumpy

And I really, really hate it when people get all worked up over completely trivial matters!!!! :mad

(ooohhh. hmmmm. :oops )

How about when they do that only to turn 20 seconds later :rant

One of my pet peeves is going into a new place, i.e. a church, and no one speaks to you :gah
