Lamentations 4:8 is NOT a statement on the race of the Jewish people.

Thank you for posting another scripture written in Hebrew where a word is translated into English as 'black'.
Interesting that this word is not the same Hebrew word that is used in your scripture where you say 'smooth' should be translated as 'black skinned'.
Just how many different Hebrew words mean 'black skinned'?
Can I understand that you read and speak Hebrew, correct? Or do you use Strong's like most of us do?

9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

Rom 15:11 and again, `Praise the Lord, all ye nations; and laud Him, all ye peoples;'

I don't see Christianity as a separate religion from the one that God began when He called out Abram. God was gathering people to Himself from then on. Jew and Gentile, of every race, every color of skin, eyes, men, women, children. A holy nation, a peculiar people. Gentiles that were not a people are joined together with God's first chosen people and we are all now the people of God. Paul calls us the Israel of God, the ones in one Body, in Christ, the Root of Jesse.
God has been calling His people to Himself for a very long time. John saw a multitude that no one could count. So Praise the Lord, rejoice, blow the shofar, and speak the Gospel in the north, in the south, east, and west. Someday we will all worship Him together. What a glorious day that will be!

THE GENTILES ARE THE ISRAELITE FORIEGNERS PAUL SAID THE ADOPTION PERTAINETH TO ISRAEL ISRAEL WAS BEING ADOPTED BACK IN AFTER THE KINGDOM SPLIT THE ISRAELITES WERE BEING CALLED GENTILES
