What if 666 is the mark of 'Cain'

What if the mark of the beast '666' is the 'mark of Cain' in disguise? When Cain murdered his brother Abel, God put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him will kill him.....

Genesis 4:15 New International Version (NIV)
15 But the Lord said to him, “Not so; anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.

First, consider that the rebuilding of the Temple during the Tribulation is a total repudiation of Jesus Christ as the messiah. Are the two witnesses in the Book of Revelation come to warn the Jewish people that building and consecrating the temple is a rejection of Jesus Christ as the true messiah?

Rebuilding the Temple is as if the Jewish people have become 'Cain' once again and are killing (hint: denying) Jesus Christ a second time (hint: 1st denial/killing is when Christ was crucified). Then the beast begins to place the mark of '666' on everyone (hint: a person's 3rd denial/killing of Jesus Christ) which represents the 'mark of Cain' as outlined in Genesis 4:15 to protect everyone from being killed through violence or starvation during the calamitous period call the Great Tribulation.

The mark of the beast '666' is symbolic for the 3 denials of Jesus Christ that Christ prophesied would happen to Peter, who was the future head of Christ's church, just before Christ's crucifixion. Peter acted as an individual when he denied Jesus Christ 3 times during Christ's crucifixion. Now during the Tribulation Christ's church (hint: which Peter represents) will deny Jesus Christ 3 times!

Will the mark of the beast '666' be offered as a reassurance to all those during the Tribulation after the murder of the two witnesses in exactly the same way that God placed a mark on Cain to protect him from violent retribution after he murdered his brother Abel?

It is important to note that anyone who receives the mark of the beast '666' is damned to hell for eternity. Revelation 14:11

Revelation 14:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

I find it interesting that when John was taken up to heaven to witness all the future horrific events (hint: read the Book of Revelation) he looked down upon Jerusalem and made no mention of the Temple as being anything different than what it was during Christ's time on earth.

If a Temple exists to fulfill prophesy in the coming days of the Antichrist then it must be an exact replica of the Temple during Christ's time on earth, and in the exact location with no adjacent Islamic religious structures, or John would have mentioned any differences in his description in the Book of Revelation.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and rest assured that all of your sins are forgiven. You'll then be included in the rapture where Jesus Christ comes back for all of his believers to save them from receiving the mark of the beast '666' during the Great Tribulation.

God Bless

Dear Brother ugmug, Israel does not need a temple to offer sacrifice. If they did build a temple it could be erected with today’s technology in very little time. The following URL link is a former reply I gave of this subject.

It isn't. The mark of Cain is the humbleness that comes from remorse.

Gen 4:13 - And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Psa 34:18 - The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

From the womb of one mother, Eve, came forth two sons. One, in the flesh, could not please God. The younger son, the son who comes "after" the flesh man, has Gods favor.

These two sons are accounted in many ways in the scriptures. Just as from Abraham sprang forth the "same" two sons. One of the flesh who could not inherit. Only the second, younger, inherits. Born well past the abilities of the flesh people involved to "conceive." The second son is Gods Own.

The second son always comes after the first. It is always a picture of the natural man first, then the spiritual man. And these two are always in contention.

Paul tells us that this "pattern" is the Way of God:

1 Corinthians 15:46
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Even with Job, God treated the flesh man, Job, pitilessly. But the second Job, after Job realized where he sat, in his flesh, was really "dust and ashes" signifying the state of his own flesh, the second man, spiritual, received Gods Mercy.

The same figures can be seen many times in many ways throughout the text. Even with the first temple, significantly, the temple of the rich man, Solomon, it was destroyed and the natural people taken to captivity and slavery. The second body of people who were released from captivity signify the same thing. The second temple was "more glorious" in Gods Eyes.

Haggai 2:9
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

Even with God Himself, in flesh, there was first, a natural man, who submitted His Own Flesh to the death, the second, raised in Permanent Glory.

These are patterns. First and last. Elder serving younger.

Divine Principles. Several dozens of pages could be filled with studies of these same matters. They are found with Abraham his two sons. Isaac and his two sons. Joseph and his two sons. Moses and his own elder brother, Aaron. Moses' own two sons.

Even more, with the first natural son, Abram to Abraham, Jacob to Israel, Cephas to Peter. Saul to Paul. Even Joseph to "Zaphnathpaaneah," These are all the same things.

The natural son can't be saved or please God. The second son is the son of promise, who can't be lost and has Gods Unmerited favor and Grace.

The natural mind can't come to understanding. It will always be looking on the outside. Looking for marks. Looking for temples, always blaming and accusing the other guys, but never looking for it's own destruction. It will look any direction, but in that direction.

The second man, the spiritual will look upon his own natural flesh temple, and see it for what it is:

1 Cor. 15
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

These know what is to come, and they await The True Second Temple in Hope.

Romans 8:
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

What happens to blinded unbelieving Israel or their supposed brick and mortar job where Jesus is supposed to sit, (what a joke- Acts 17:24-25) won't matter much, to me anyway.

The "mark" of Cain is upon all natural men. It is the natural man, in his 'unregenerate' self, ruled over and blinded by the wicked one:

Ephesians 2:
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

When Cain "murdered" his brother it was an external reflection of his already internal reality.

Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

This "enmity" between the carnal/natural man and God, has existed in "all mankind" from day one. It is a picture of us in our blinded by the "god of this world" condition, as a natural man. The second man, Abel, is also a picture of the son who obtains Gods Favor. The SECOND.

Even in the covenants, the FIRST is taken away and replaced by the SECOND.

Hebrews 11:4
By faith
Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

IF we observe the "sacrifice" of Abel, it was burned/destroyed FLESH. This picture, God FAVORS.

Colossians 2:13
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

The righteous man sees his flesh by the sight of God, for what it is. A carnal man "has not" this sight, nor can he have it. It is a gift, given by God, only to the 'second man.'

Personally I don't care for Gematria, adding up people's names seems silly & almost a form of witchcraft, but each is on.

Greek did not have a ʃ phoneme,
so the derived Greek letter Sigma (Σ)
came to represent the /s/.
While the letter shape Σ continues Phoenician šîn,
its name sigma and its position in the alphabet
is taken from the letter samekh Ξ ξ ,
while the shape of samekh
but name
and position of šîn is continued in the xi

The nomina sacra of Christ/Messiah is ΧΣ

The Cain 666 concept is what was taught to the Southern States by the Master Slave Traders!
