How did Moses believe Elohim with his whole heart when he constantly was trying to make excuses all the time.
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Heb 11:9-10 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Was Abe perfect in his faith?
Who is?

Romans 10:17 .. Abraham had heard from God and his faith become substance ..
Hid faith was demonstrated by his action.
Jas 2:21-22 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. [Genesis 15:6]

I agree, Genesis 15:4-5 like when we hear from God on a matter specifically and often during fasting and prayer or kinda like concerning giving a message in tongues, then interpretation of tongues by another then confirmed through the Spirit by even another or others (only one example) .. When we hear from God our faith becomes substance and we can know enough and surely enough to live in it or iow you can proclaim it as fact even though it has not happened physically yet it has been called into into existence only waiting for the physical birth date, you can count on it, offer thanks, and proclaim it boldly .. But many folks don't wait or learn to hear from God and go out to fulfill some one elses vision or idea and end up burning themselves out because they have heard from man and not God, even blocked sometimes .. God does not have grandchildren, only born again sons and daughters . He wants to act and have a relationship with us personally through the Spirit and according to the Word, not by proxy or vain imaginations . We agree that our Jesus is quite a remarkable fellow ..

A final thought: One reason I think "belief" is an inadequate understanding of faith is that all Christians experience, from time to time or even all the time, some element of doubt. If one equates belief with faith, one can easily be led into the trap of worrying about whether he or she "really" believes and has faith when this element of doubt exists. Is my doubt too great for me to honestly say I believe? Have I ceased to believe? This problem does not arise when one understands faith as trust. The trust is the proof of the pudding, so to speak. The trust is the proof that you do believe, even though an element of doubt may exist.

I have always loosely defined faith as "Living as though what I believe were true, while acknowledging it may not be." This definition does not demand certainty of belief.

Ad I completely disagree. When I walked out of te ar I was singing in I sold out, completely and i cannot be convinced otherwise but then I do my best to remain in the Word and to listen to the Holy Spirit that as become the consciousness I try my darnedest to build my life on.

If one listens to the Spirit, their Faith in God almost becomes a tangible thing they can touch and like me, are homesick and they have never set on Heaven but the love for Jesus grows and becomes real to that person.

Amen and over and over, Amen. It is possible to walk with God and if one is truly saved and does not know God wants to walk ad to guide them into all good, tey are missing the blessings of our LORD.
