This is the thread to talk about all the interesting things that you have done in your life so far. Being the humongous Disney fan that I am I'm glad that I have been to Disney World quite a few times as a child (and besides going to Universal Studio I would really love to go back there with my niece) and I have also enjoyed Cedar Point too. I used to love going to Six Flags until that closed quite awhile back. As an adult I have traveled a lot more. I have been to Washington D.C quite a few times and as I have mentioned rather frequently that this past summer I have been there for Awesome Con seeing one of my favorite actors David Tennant and Kennywood. One of my other favorite things that I have done is going zip lining over the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and camping in a log cabin in Maryland. It's funny, even though I have been on a lot of extravagant adventures (I also forgot to mention that I rented a house down by the beach quite a few times as well) I really love camping right here in Ohio. Especially camps like Faith Ranch. They're a Christian camp and they have horse trails there. :) I have been there before as a teenager back when I was in Girl Scouts.

Well, I got my first passport at the age of 57 and traveled 7,500 miles to Minsk, Belarus for my first date with my now wife, who at the time spoke perhaps 6 words of English while I spoke perhaps 40 words of Russian. Yeah, that was an adventure. For those who don't know, Belarus is the last of the hardline former Soviet republics, where the KGB is still very active and you don't say witty things about the dictator in public, although I loved it and have never had any problem there.

I also had a classic "daylight disk" UFO follow my car at close range in 1971, when I was driving with a hard-nosed skeptic in the passenger's seat. That "adventure" lasted only about two minutes, but there were some very odd aspects to it and there is no question this was Something Weird.

I remember going here as a child. Here's a hint, if you ever happen to be a tourist in Ohio. (in the land of the middle of nowhere lol :lol)

Had some pretty hairy adventures on my four-wheeler that were scary, but I prevailed. Been to Washington DC back in 1973 Senior class trip. Been to Florida a couple times, but only saw one alligator laying by a pond even though we went to Parks where they are more prevalent, but never saw any. Must have been to cold as we were there in the winter. Went to Kentucky last year and saw Noah's Ark. That place is awesome. Want to go back and go through the Creation Museum this summer. Been to Cedar Point in Ohio. Lived in Texas for a few years so did the Alamo thing. And as reba said life in the last 63 years has always been and adventure with all the ups and downs. Summers coming so more adventures ahead :biggrin

By the way, has anybody been here before? I used to go all the time when I was little. I think a lot of places have medieval fairs. I sometimes think of myself of a princess. After all, I am the daughter of the Almighty King so technically that means I should be treated as royalty right? :lol

I learned to fly at the age of nine. I joined the Army. I did some time in prison. I worked in our State's largest Mental Hospital for 6 years. And the biggest adventure of all, I facilitated group therapy sessions for a Psychologist for 24 years.

Sorry about your time in prison. :sad I'm sure you already know firsthand how Joe feels then.
Pretty much. Though my time wasn't too bad. I spent part of it on a crop-growing farm, and the rest on a construction crew at a Women's Prison.

I am currently on a multi state tour of part of the "Bible belt" being persecuted by as many Christian folk as my schedule will allow.

Although it is not as much fun as it sounds I am having quite a adventure!

I asked God if I can see more of the usa before it is gone and this is what He gave me with His questionable sense of humour lol.
