[ Testimony ] What Relief for Me !

I am now 82 years old...

I was brought up in a Catholic Church ! Went to the school for 6 years.

We were never told to use a bible ! We had prayer books and rosary's . Never had a bible ! My parents
were brought up Catholic also but , in Poland , and not sure about my Pa.... Could be Germany or
Russian..... they were born in the 1890's and 1900's.... and with wars going on. they came to
the USA.
Well we had children my husband and I and we were both still Catholic and brought up and Baptized our
children..... in the Catholic faith. But the last born , I did not send to the religion class...... I just felt
it was wrong..... But we still did attend mass.
I was always going to confession , because I felt like I was going to hell. And I did not really have
what was call a mortal sin........... But still felt I need to confess......... or I was going to hell.....
Well one of our sons had a friend from a different religion, and he went to the church with him, and
soon we were all saved.......
And found a bible church and finally got bibles.......... My husbands family also were Catholic and
came over from I think Italy ?
My husband is now in heaven and I have been wanting to go home as soon as I was saved..

What a Wonderful GOD we have. GOD made it so easy for us to be saved.....

JESUS , had to do all the suffering for us........... It seems like we will never be able to thank

GOD and JESUS enough for All we now have HEAVEN one day soon.............

Dear Sister @I'mGrams, you write remarkably well for only having six years of schooling.
I too came out of Catholicism in a time that masses were performed in Latin which left much wanting in discerning as to whether what they said was true or not, although there was Catholic Missals. But God had other plans for me as one place I worked blew up, I moved to another state, and was led to an evangelizing brother in the Lord. Over the years I wondered why God couldn't have just brought someone to me where I was, but His ways are not our ways.

You had a good testimony here; God bless you in Jesus' name.

hey, I'm Grams....

thanks for this. now and then I find myself tempted by the RCC. I'm not entirely sure why...maybe because they've been going for nearly 2,000 years, I sometimes wonder: what if they're right?

But then I really stop to think about it, and I read testimonies like yours, and...nah. Not that there aren't horrible Protestant churches, even straight up false Protestant churches, but...the RCC is not the answer.

I am just glad we found a bible Church ........ No religion..... Just using the bible all the time sure does help a lot.

specially when you understand things are now changed...... and you can read all about it in the N.T.

As we have been taught at the church ...... The whole bible is for us......... But not to us........
