What should be done with Homosexuals?

If we believe as the bible says that Homosexual behavior is an abomination What should we do about i

I figured this would make a good poll.

If as Christians we should not allow two people of the same sex the right to sign the governments contract (Marriage they like to call it) because it is against Gods wishes then shouldn’t we also push for a law that outlaws all homosexual practices? Wouldn’t that be the right thing to do if you view them like that? Because by not outlawing it from the way I understand (people have stated on these forums) you would be supporting the act so it would be wrong. Or can’t the same logic be applied to this because then it doesn’t seem right?

If you believe as the bible says that God thinks homosexual acts is an abomination then letting them get married would not change that or stopping them get married would not change that. So if your going to oppose it I think you should jump on the band wagon of the self proclaimed “Righteous†and fight for a law that will ban them all together because if not your argument is invalid so therefore why kid yourself?
 
Yes, undoubtedly as Christians we would support laws against known sin and sinful practices. Why wouldn't we?
For starters, stop the homosexual agenda from gaining support and acceptance of their sinful lifestyles. But this war isn't against people its against Satan. Its not just homosexuality, but against all sin that is trying to be made "acceptable" by society.

An example of what happens when we all become tolerant of these kinds of sin.... see Genesis 18 & 19.

We are to treat homosexuality like we would any other sin. Show the offenders the love of Christ. We shouldn’t tell them that its okay, but we shouldn’t hate them either. Yes, I think it should be illegal. It is an abomination before God, but according to the poll, I’m the only one who thinks so.
 
Just as I can't support pro-abortion laws, pro-legalizing drug laws or pro-legalizing prostution laws I cannot support any law supporting the sin of homosexuality

I propose a fifth options:

Pray that the Lord will Guide those who Govern this nation to follow Him and pass laws that are pleasing to Him.

This is a tough call for Christians because we are told to obey caesar, but we must also love God. If the Government recognize homosexuals as fine, why should the Christians attitude change. We are to Love the sinner, not the Sin.

Pray for the Homosexuals, whether or not laws are passed in favor of their Sin. God is still our ruler, and whom we must ultimately serve.

That is just one form of colitis which is what happens to these guys and then they are doomed to having to wear a sack outside of their bodies for the rest of their lives because of all the damage they did to themselves!

Something has got to be mentally wrong with people who think there is nothing wrong with it! It's a mental disorder that makes them think there is nothing wrong with it! They neeed HELP! They should be looking for help! Not permission to act perversely!

First off, STD's can happen to people of any sexual orientation. Surely numerous homosexuals do not contract this disease, and even if they do, can we outlaw all activities that might cause physical harm to the participants? If we are to outlaw homosexual activity because of colitis, should we also ban going out in the rain without a coat? While some psychologists do contend that individuals are gay or straight based on experiences in latency, few suggest that homosexuality is a mental disorder. Furthermore, I think most psychologists would consider it ludicrous and ignorant to state that tolerance and acceptance for homosexuals is a mental disorder. Of course, facts, science, and psychology are all tentacles of the "homosexual agenda" and aren't to be trusted anyway...
 
I am thouroughly dissapointed that many chrisitans dont share the views that some do. Some chrisitans here have proven that they love all of gods creatures, regardless if they sin or not. Love the sinner not the sin (one of the best christian things ive heard recently)

if you are pro life, not pro prostitution, or pro drug, how can you be pro capital punishment or pro guns? Or even pro discrimination?>
 
It is difficult for me to vote in any of the categories given because we cannot do any of the options given--it is not we that make the civil laws.
 
I got a great Idea.

All the ones that vote to ban all Homosexuals should get together and make a commercial that goes something like this.

Hello fellow Americans
We have gathered here to tell you all as Christians that we must stand up to this sin of homosexual behavior we are proposing a law that bans all homosexuals.
We need you to stand up, and speak out. Tell these HOMOSexuals that the can either stop their practices of be put in jail or booted out of the country we are fed up and are not going to take it anymore!!!! Lynch them---Opps I mean arrest them!!!!!!

What are you going to say when you stand before God.. Are you going to tell him that you stood up for the right of the women to abort (kill) their unborn child and that you also stood up for the rights of the homosexuals. God finds this an abomination, are you going to tell him you think He is wrong and that you are more just then He? :roll:

I am sorry no where can you show me where the Lord tells us to make OTHERS live by his Laws. That is an opinion that some hold not a commandment from God. And I find it hateful for anyone to push that kind of thing against their fellow brother.

God knows who you are you are proving nothing to him by degrading his children he will see the hate in the motivations no matter how you justify it.

I live MY life by the commandments of the Lord and you all should also we are all sinners and for you to be throwing stones at any other group of sinners in a little out there if you ask me.

God I read your words and I took it apon myself to enforce them on the fellow man (I knew this one needed enforced more then Love thy neighbors) so we went all over the country and took care of those abominations they will be no harm to anyone anymore. Aren’t you so proud of me?

I can understand, 100% if you think being homosexual is wrong. I can understand that. people think alot of things are wrong.

But its not right to try to take it from someoen else.

Following a diffrent faith is against the word of god. because god says there is only one true faith. So why dont you also ban judaism? islam? buhdism. taoism, anything. why?

This to me seems to not be an attack on someone because god told you too, it seems that it is an attack because you dont agree with them.

Teach yes as I have ALWAYS say education is the path we need to take not FORCE.
We need to show them the path not force them to walk down it. That is what God asks of us and to bring the feeling of hate is just wrong.

That is right we need to separate Gods message and false teachings of it. Because you don't understand how many people think/talk like they are doing Gods will by forcing other to do this or that. It is a form of hate no matter what you say because if ask the person you are forcing if they feel they are being treated with hate and you will see. Hate is Hate not just the hate you choose to see.
