Back when I had to deal with the whole boyfriend/dating issue my motto was, "If I have to fight to keep him, he isn't worth having." If a guy showed any tendencies to flirt with other girls, I was outta there.

I held out for a guy who would swim through shark invested waters to get me a lemonade, and I wound up with one. There is absolutely no question of any kind of lack of trust in our marriage and I have a husband who works his tail off for me and the kids because he loves us.

I waited a looonnnngggg time to find him, but boy was he ever worth the wait! :muchlove

Okay, veering off the subject a little, which I tend to do in Dave's post because they get me thinking about other things (even when I don't want too!!! teehee) ANYWAYS! What's with all these acronyms anyway!!!

When I am a grandma, my grandchildren will be speaking Acronymese, and I won't have a clue.

Just when I think I have one or two of them down someone comes along and messes with it!

I'm sorry, I am going to Use Caps for a moment not to show anger, but to put emphasis on what I am about to say!

I THOUGHT "BF" MEANT BEST FRIEND!!!

Why would I care if my BF was kissing her boyfriend??? Okay, I would care, because she is married, but anyway... you know what I mean.

I am the HR (HUMAN RESOURCES) assistant in a large grocery distribution warehouse. In almost every sentence, we use an acronym, or two (or ten)! On my first day of training I was in orientation with a man. I didn't know it, but he was the new "Leadership Development Specialist", So when my boss, said, "The last LDS we had Went out on STD's and never came back"... WHAT!

Being as I am from Utah, I had to stop her right there and ask her what she was talking about! She said, "Oh sorry, I forget, The last Leadership Development Specialist, was out on Short term disability and never came back"... :lol LOL

TTFN (I know that one, because my kid's liked watching Winny the poo, when they were little)

Kelli

OK, Kelli, just FYI: Girls can have a BF and be BFF, but they can also have a BF but don't want a BF with a GF because they should be the only GF for the BF. JMO, but IMHO you should GWTT! LOL

TTYL :biggrin

OK, Caroline, you should GWTT too! :lol

GWTT - Get With The Times
TTYL - Talk to Ya Later
TTFN - Ta Ta For Now

TC and GBU! :biggrin

You need to leave him. Peroid point blank. Don't listen any of his BS just leave him. I know it's hard but there are going to be plenty of men out there for you to choose from. Just like in the book of Matthew don't give your pearls to the pigs for they will trample on them then attack you. This guy sounds like a pig to me so let him be.

What if he says "it's not what it looks like" or "she had cheese stuck in her throat"? Any ladies ever hear these excuses before?

Hey Mr. Slayer,

Why don't you start a thread with all the acronyms people use now days, now that would be useful!

You could name it... ATAPUND :biglol

BTW Jojo how did you learn acronymese??? I thought you were old like me??? (I don't know where I got that idea tho)...MBO-TS (Must be old-timers syndrome)

Love, Kelli

Well, I'm 39, so I guess I'm Generation X. I got in on the Internet before it became ragingly popular, but late enough to learn some acronyms. :thumb

Hunny, you are safe on both counts in this thread. I'm never gonna kiss another woman, and I can speak acronymesse. However, for those who do not speak in acronymesse, please look online for the term. Just do not use Urban Dictionary, as the terms you'll find are quite vulgar sometimes.

If I were single, I`d just drop the guy without a second thought. A BF that cheats isn`t worth one`s time or effort. As a married woman, it would be a much more serious issue. I have children so I couldn`t just walk away from the relationship like I could if I were single. Things would have to be worked out between my husband and me, and I would probably let the woman know that the man she was kissing is a married man (to me) with children so she needs to keep away.
