My wife is into pecan pie, too; although now with her diet she might not eat too much of any time soon...

Oh, I see. Be sure to be attentive and supportive of her, because committing to a diet (for any reason) can be stressful.

Ty. Yes, actually for me to follow a similar diet will do me the world of good, too! :)

We're kind of in it together! it's fun.

Blessings.

My dh is going in with me for vegetarian foods. ( I have some good recipes)
I don't think that he will go completely vegetarian though.

I like it when a man is not afraid to be in the kitchen and is a good cook.

Why would a man be afraid of cooking anyway?
My dad used to do most of the cooking at home when I was a kid. At my workplace our best cook is a guy. My ex-bf used to make the best cakes and waffles. Can't imagine why anyone would think cooking is unmanly. A man that refuses to cook is unmanly because that means either he's too lazy, or he's incapable to fend for himself, or he's old fashioned and insecure of his manliness. But thank God most men I know aren't like that. Men cooking at home are normal nowadays.

Are men still like that? I can cook pretty good. Not as good as most women, but pretty good. What's unmanly about being able to cook? Most of the men I know cook and help their wives cook. I think it'd take a pretty small mind to think it was unmanly or beneath a man to cook. That's crazy. I know a few men that are of the 'get in the kitchen and make me a sammich' type attitude but they are also of a ridiculous mindset in many other ways also.

I'll stand down fast to a woman that wants to cook, because most are better than I at it, but I'll sure help if they want me too.
