I was busy planting some late tomatoes in my garden so my 11 year old daughter made dinner tonight. Boxed Mac and Cheese and green beans.

aaaaww, I don't remember being able to cook at 11 yrs old. I did have older sisters to take care of me, though.

MMMM I love DiGiorno's spinach, mushroom and garlic...making me hungry!

I think I'll make soft shell-beef tacos and shrimp salad.

This is breakfast.

I am thinking about making either Steak, Mac & Cheese, and a veggie or Gator... Not really sure yet.

Yes Nick, by all means share the recipe!

OK, for Father's Day, we had Steve's dad, mom and brother over. Saturday night I made up a bar-b-que sauce and a vegetable marinade. I poured the sauce over chicken thighs and legs and popped it in the fridge. Then I cut up red peppers, yellow peppers, green peppers, purple onion and slid all the cut veggies along with cherry tomatoes and mushrooms onto some skewers, poured the marinade over them and popped them in the fridge as well.

Yesterday morning I made up a huge macaroni salad and baked what my son calls my Strawberry Long Cake.

When we got back from church, I popped the chicken on the grill over low heat and cooked it for about one hour, putting the veggie skewers on for the last 15 minutes. My mother-in-law brought some homemade dill/onion bread and that's what we had for Father's Day dinner.

I still have a fair bit of the bar-b-que sauce left, so tonight I think we'll have sloppy joes and the rest of the macaroni salad.

I can't believe you haven't heard about schnitzel.

It is a thin cutlet of meat, usually beef, chicken or veal that is seasoned, usually crumbed. In this case it was crumbed in chillies.
