alright, lets clarify something.

When is a human, with-out sin.

when is BB, or myself, with out sin?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

I think we are without sin the instant we ask Christ to enter our hearts. But it doesn't take a split second to sin again. The big difference is that your sin, (past, present, and furture) is covered by the blood of Jesus once and for all :tongue

Who says they are not sinners?

.

Anyone outside of the HOLY SPIRIT IS OPEN TO SIN IN THEIR LIFE.
We become sin-free when we give it up and and we give our will over to the holy spirit. Jesus instructed to Go and Sin NO MORE. If that weren't possible He wouldn't have said it. We can live a sin-free life.

We are not sinning when we are IN the HOLY SPIRIT OF CHRIST JESUS.

We are to put on the full armor OF God so that we are able to resist the temptation to sin. Ephesians 6:11-21

We live sin-free when we have our minds kept ON the HOLY spirit.
There is no way you can sin when your mind is focused on God.

When you take your mind off of the HOLY spirit, then you leave yourself open to temptation to sin, you have dropped your guard, so to speak.

Those who think being a Christian is without effort are mistaken.
It takes one to carry their own cross and follow Jesus.

What do you think that means to carry your own cross?
Do you think it is easy to make such a sacrifice? To give up yourself and carry your own cross?

Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Where in the bible does it say we lay down our cross?

We are sinners when we don't have our minds focused on Christ. We are all sinners. We are sin-free When we are IN Christ Jesus.
Tell me, how can anyone sin if they are focused on the sinless teachings of Christ Jesus, when they have their mind ON Christ Jesus?

Where is your mind focused? We are to constantly hold keep watch on and be aware of what we choose to give focus to. You can't sin IF you are focused on the HOLY, sinless righteous act. To take up your cross is to sacrifice yourself, giving yourself over to righteousness. To go and sin no more, by focusing on the HOLY SPIRIT OF Jesus.

Loose track, fall off the path.... and what have you? A backsliding sinner. Ask, are you serving two masters? :-?

Discipline is sacrifice and sacrifice is not easy. When you aks the HOLY Spirit to reside IN you, you focus on the HOLY and you leave the old nature behind. You go and sin no more. That takes much discipline on our part. We give sacrifice by our own free will. And to give our will over to serving the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ Jesus, is not easy for a selfish sinner.
Our free will plays an important part of being a Christian, giving to serve Christ instead of giving to the selfish nature of sin. It is a free choice. And if you want to honor Godly principles and Godly sin-free life, you have to sacrifice your old self.
Effort! It does not come without effort.

If you think we are free to sin and then be wishy washy, sinning and then not sinning, and going back and forth without any thought nor care of what you are doing or how you are behaving, then you are being reckless and disrespectful of the HOLY SPIRIT. Irresponsibility is no excuse. It takes discipline to be IN the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ Jesus. Remember, you give by your own free will. It is a voluntary act on your part. God will not force you if you are resistant. Remember the story of the Prodigal son?

What is sin-free, being free of sin, being free from sin?
Read the scripture in Romans:

Romans 6:18 -
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:20 -
For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Romans 6:22 -
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Romans 8:2 -
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

If you are focused on sin then you will not be IN the SPIRIT OF the life IN Christ Jesus.

If you study the lingo you will understand the concept of giving up something in order to gain another thing; Carry your cross = sacrifice.
Living IN the HOLY Spirit = focusing on The HOLY Sprit of Christ Jesus, thereby, being sin free by acting on that, by living like that, bt walking the walk and talking the talk! Re-Read Romans 6:18 and Romans 6:20 above.

"Go and sin no more. " Why would Jesus say that to anyone if He meant you could continue on sinning and not have any consequences? Don't kid yourself into thinking that you can live the life of sinning and then be sin free.
We all need to Go and sin no more. Otherwise we are living in sin, (open to temptation, ignoring the HOLY SPIRIT, instead of living IN The HOLY "SPIRIT" OF CHRIST JESUS.

Christ paid the price for our sins. Yes, but that doesn't mean we have the right to continue to focus on things that are unholy. How is that righteousness? How is that living for Christ? How is that being a servant to God?

NO! We are to not go on sinning. The temptation is there, it will not stop as long as the devil has roam of this world. Why do you think we have the Armour of God to put on? for nothing? We are to put it on, wear it at ALL times and "Go and sin no more".

We are sinners outside of Christ Jesus, so then, while we give ourselves over to the HOLY Spirit of Christ Jesus, we are to Go and sin no more. That is what makes us sin-free. Nothing else does it but living IN the HOLY Spirit!

What state of mind are you IN ? What has a hold of your mind? What spirit are you allowing into your mind? Keep a check on yourself at all times. Go and sin no more. That's the message. And the good news is that giving yourself over to, being IN the "HOLY" Spirit, you can't sin! It is impossible to sin when the HOLY is in control. And Jesus gives us the way to overcome sin.

What Spirit are you a servant to? The Spirit of God? Hope and pray and ask God to be IN you. It is up to you to constantly seek after Him.
Knock on that door, not any other door.

Are you doing things in your life that are UNGodly? Then give your self to the HOLY Spirit and learn what it is to be HOLY and to Go and sin no more.

We are not in this life to go without responsibility.
It takes discipline. and that is giving your self freely to Godly principles.

Your Free will is yours to "GIVE". It is up to you to Give of your own will. to Go and sin no more.

Addiction to sin is not easy to overcome if you are constantly playing with it. You need to stop doing that and then you have to give yourself over to not go there, once and for all. If you don't make up your mind, you then fall back into it. Give your will to the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. It's the only way to stop sin in you life. You have to treat sin like it is a plague and run from it. Ephesians 6:11-21 tells us that much. Flee from sin. It's in the bible over and over again. We need focus on the sin-free HOLY Spirit. It's the only way to walk away from sin and be truly sin-free. That's what it means to be IN Christ Jesus. You dont' get grace if you don't give of your own will. There is no mercy for the hardhearted stubborn sinner. How can God do any work in your life if you are stubborn and hardhearted? You have to be "willing" to give it up to Christ and take on the Holy spirit being a NEW creature IN Christ Jesus. If you can't understand how that speaks to you then you need to do much praying so to come to understanding. Read your bible over and over and over again.

Sin has no place in the life of a saint.
Jesus said, We can't serve two masters. We have to TRULY Make up the mind to Go and sin no more.

Sorry the post is so long. I couldn't say it any other way.

I would ask this question ?Does our LORD have sin ?
1Jo 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
Does anyone believe or understand this scripture ?

Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
This one?
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

1Jo 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

What nature would we be of ?

You SEE? when we have been BORN AGAIN ,We become new creatures .No longer of this world ,But beings living in a sin full body .This body can not help but sin .But our spirit is perfect and hates being trapped in this evil body .But can if we allow it ?control it and keep it from sinning ,of course we must put the spirit in charge.and we can
Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Now no one or few walk in there spirit being all the time ?But can I believe. But this is debatable?
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
You see ?We are as our LORd a spirit 1st .

But of course we are more than a spirit as we have a mind or we can call it a soul
and a body
Now the body is lost ,it is sin full
But the soul or mind ,has too be changed to be like OUR LORDS mind .renewing of the mind .reprogramed .By the living word ,taught by reading the word and asking the HOLY GHOST to show us the understanding with in .Now many by pass the HOLY SPIRIT and follow other men or pastors or books .This is not good .But widly accepted .
But the SPIRIT of GOD ,was given to us for that purpose .After a time?We will not hear HIOm clearly ?But a way has been provided for everything in our lifes .Because we are overcomers ?We overdcome EVERYTHING.Only because HE DID ..
We can and should as HE HAS TOLD US .FAST .I find 3 full days will put us walking and living in our spirits .water only prayer and reading the living WORD .Now not many will do this ,But those who do?They will have there reward from JESUS CHRIST .Because obeying HIm .Is always a great blessing .disobeying bring trouble and sadness .
Mat 9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast

HERE HE SAYS WE WILL .obeying the LORD is a great blessing ,we lose ,when we will not !

THIS tells us what to recieve when we fast ,if we will accept it .FULL FREEDOM from every problem !
but with all things? We MUST ACCEPT IT IN FAITH .We should be very happy to be freed from bondage !

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
I would answer any question ,I can ?ASK me if you truly want to live a overcomers life.I don"t know all things ,But the HOLY SPIRIT does and HE desires to teach you everything ,you CAN RECIEVE .HE waits on you 24/7 ASK HIM and grow powerful; in the LORD .

Alright lyric.

John is a sinner, in which case we better not trust him right?

Relic. So your saying, if it isnt possible he wouldnt do it.

Relic, it says that if you TRULY believe in jesus christ, your prayers will be answered.

are you saying that all of those people, the thousandsw, probably millions that prayed for terri schiavo to live, were wrong? that they do not truly believe in jesus christ? because either god lied, or god didnt make good on his promise.

Also, what happens if one truly believes, and wishes to move a mountain into the sea, yet another equally believes, and wants to move the same mountain, farther from the sea? then who does god favor? does he tell one too bad, therefore defaulting on his promise, or does he complete the impossible, therefore granting both prayers, and yet, neither at the same time?

So relic, I assume that you are "sin free"
Is BB sin free?
who on here is sin free, can you tell me plz? because I thought that to be a follower of god, you had to do everything he said in the bible.

when was the last time you killed me? and burnt down ROchester NY. Have you ever eaten lobster? I know your opposed to homosexuality, ever killed a gay man?

God is allowed to answer as He sees fit. "No" constitutes an answer.

This is a tad ridiculous, peace.

WHAT!?! Did I say anything like that? Where is that coming from????

And that ol' don't eat lobster and never join fabrics is not only getting old but quite pathetic. Those were laws meant for the Nation of Israel, not the Church. Since then Jesus has come and fulfilled the law. Get over it.

Physically I will never be without sin - not until I die anyway. But spiritually I am without sin as I am made perfect in Jesus Christ.

Exactly.
The spirit knows right from wrong, the recognition of sin. The flesh cannot please God therefore it dies. It's the spirit that lives unto eternal life through Christ.

God's Free Gift of Salvation Is FOR SINNERS ONLY

The outstanding characteristic of the Gospel of Christ is that it is only designed for self-judged, condemned sinners. The Gospel is only appreciated by those who realize their need. Self-sufficient, self-righteous, haughty, proud men do not care for the Gospel of Christ. But the guilty and broken in heart, realizing their condemnation before a holy God, rejoice in the message of free grace set forth in the Gospel.

In this little article, the Scriptures themselves are used to reveal that salvation is only for sinners. If you, reader, are such a one, and you desire to have salvation, read this message carefully.

Christ Came to Earth to Save Only Those Who Are Sinners

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief" (1 Timothy 1:15).

"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10).

"They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick" (Matthew 9:12).

The Only People God Loves Are Sinners

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

"In this was manifest the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:9,10).

Christ Died Only For Sinners

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly" (Romans 5:6).

"Christ died for our sins" (1 Corinthians 15:3).

"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin" (1 John 3:5).

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18).
"He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself (Hebrews 9:26).

The Only People Invited to Come to Christ Are Sinners

"I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Matthew 9:13).

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18).

Sinners Are the Only People God Can Forgive

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7).

"Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins" (Acts 13:38).

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins" (Acts 10:43).

The Only People That Christ Saves Are Sinners

"Thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21).

"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1 Timothy 1:15).

The Only People Who Go to Heaven Are Sinners Saved By Grace

"And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation (Revelation 5:9).

There Is A Fountain

There is a Fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed church of God
Be saved to sin no more.

E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing Thy power to save.
-William Cowper

"The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

Do You Know Him As Your Saviour?

"These are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:31).

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3).

Joh 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
GOD is LOVE ,But HE will always lean toward HIS kids ,even if we are wrong. But we are of HIS HOUSEHOLD .HE takes care of HIS HOUSEHOLD .

God is allowed to answer as He sees fit. "No" constitutes an answer.
Josie, no answer constititutes an answer too.

Reminds me of a line from the song "Free Will" by Rush...

"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."

Is the answer of "No" not an answer? Or do you think that God should be our genie in a bottle and grant our every whim?

Good tune, but I don't agree with all the lyrics, though some of the lines do stick out like a sore thumb, like...

"Blame is better to give than receive"

Chew on that one for a while. 8-)
