Will we be judged by the god of our faith? In other words if we believe God is a hard man and reaps where he doesn't sow, will we be judged by that type of god? Hebrews offers that we must believe God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him in order to please God.

So it seems that we must get rid of all negative distortions of God out of our hearts, and have a vision of a good God in our hearts, the true and living God. But if a professing Christian is having trouble thinking God is good, and never had a time where he did in fact believe God is good, do you think he has ever been born again?

What do you guys think?

No, I don't think that person would be born again if they don't see God as completely and utterly good. Bad things happen throughout my life and I've never blamed God (ever) I realize he is the only truly good thing that is out there. He is 100% good.

There isn't an in between with this. You either perceive the light or you don't.

We serve a loving God that wants to bless us abundantly and that in His patience and longsuffering would that none should perish,2 Peter 3:9, 10, and as a good Father he will also avenge us who are His from our enemies as He will come as a thief in the night to those who do not believe His mercy and grace are for all who will believe.. Many curse and blame God for their problems and what they do not realize is God is the one with the answer to their problems.
