Will we be judged by the god of our faith? In other words if we believe God is a hard man and reaps where he doesn't sow, will we be judged by that type of god? Hebrews offers that we must believe God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him in order to please God.
So it seems that we must get rid of all negative distortions of God out of our hearts, and have a vision of a good God in our hearts, the true and living God. But if a professing Christian is having trouble thinking God is good, and never had a time where he did in fact believe God is good, do you think he has ever been born again?
What do you guys think?
