[__ Prayer __] When it rains it pours

Despite the good news this week (with my baby girl) this week, better yet, the last stretch of time, has had one bad thing after another that’s needed my attention and has been costing hundreds of dollars. We got dinged with several unexpected bills and expenses in the last month. One was a huge bill from our cell phone carrier that we were told didn’t exist the first time we asked before switching. Another was from our mortgage company regarding a short in our escrow account. Another was with the house that contractors we hired to finish our basement found, and today the washing machine quit. We have sitting water at the end of our yard that we can’t figure out how to get rid of and we’ve tried digging around and everything and nothing is working.

My wife and I very stressed and overwhelmed. Getting really hard to keep the faith. Please pray.

No we were stuck with it. I was going to just refuse to pay it but the circumstances had it tied to our credit. We paid it but just as we paid it we got dinged with the mortgage expense and then the washer quit today. It’s to a point now to where anything else that comes will be refused. I’ll live with or without it.

Always seems to come that way...

And the "death by a thousand cuts"... annoying as all get out.

I've been there before and it isn't pleasant.

But the parable of the two houses built on either sand or rock...it wasn't "if" the rains came...but "when".
You know that God has this ...and you.

You are feeling the tale of woe at the moment...but soon enough you will be able to tell of how your relationship with God helped you survive all of this.

That wet spot at the end of your yard...
Good place for either a River Birch tree or a stand of bamboo.... depending upon how much you like your neighbors.
