Well luckily for me I don't have to worry about school anymore. I graduated ten years ago. :woot2 But yeah, as I was commenting on other threads, it seems like the schools are opening earlier and earlier nowadays as well as the pools closing. Our swimming pool closes like next week or something. :sad Good thing I'm more of a beach goer because that doesn't close like until the end of the month. :)
 
I'm looking forward to a men's retreat at Windy Gap in September...

It's all men. Four days of men's focused speaking with ministers, doctors, and mens health research scientist. Four days of frisbee golf, ziplines, horseback riding, and confidence courses. (There's indoor stuff too for when it rains) plenty of food, plenty of ice cream...all in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. (You don't have to do anything you don't want to...but they recommend you show up for meals when they ring the bell)
 
It's going by too slow! Bring on winter! I hope every other northern state will contribute to pushing their snow to Arizona come this holiday season. Yes, t-shirts saying, "I survived the great Arizona blizzard of 2018!" LET'S DO THIS!

:eek2 You can't be serious. This is a joke right? In my book, the only reason to wish for winter to come soon is Christmas/New Years/my birthday. :dunce

I have this fascination with snow because I haven't seen much of it in my lifetime. If it ever did snow, I had these childhood fantasies of being snowed in...never happened. It is too hot here and cold sounds good. Maybe I just need a reminder about any good points about a warm climate...

Lol funny timing! But yeah, we get tons of snowbirds here in the winter since it is warmer than up north.

I remember that polar vortex a few years back. At the time I was at Disney World and it was getting pretty chilly for the Orlando/Kissimmee area. This lady from Vermont started freaking out saying, "We came to Disney World to escape this!" She was disappointed. I loved how on the news some school kids waiting for their bus said, "I have never been so cold in my life!" When the temp was in the 40s lol.

The fourties is rather cold don't get me wrong, but over here I have seen the thermometer go below zero.
