LUST is my vice..... (I guess on the plus side at least I dont have to worry about being Gay and hearing about that one) :-?

PRIDE can be at times as well...

The rest are minor for me if at all applicable.....

I struggle with, and suffer from, episodes of UNGODLY wrath...I tell you, at times the torrents of vile, bloodstained blasphemies that pour out of me are straight from the pit of everlasting destruction itself.

May God find the Strength to overcome this for me before I am eternally consumed.

May He bless and comfort all the rest of you precious, sweet little sheep. The Good Shepherd is with you, and He lays down His life for you.

For me even though I am married, it would have to be lust, women are just plain beautiful, to look at. You have to remember Job 31:1 KJV, Job had this problem also. And keep repeating that verse. And the Amplified one says it even better.

1I DICTATED a covenant (an agreement) to my eyes; how then could I look [lustfully] upon a girl?
 
I believe ALL men, if they would admit it, have a problem with lust to one degree or the other. I've wished a million times God would take away those thoughts, but; I suppose they're engrained and we'll only be rid of them when we're six feet under. Age is not a factor either. I'm sometimes as bad today (60) as I was at 20!! Some things never change.

BTW, Soma-Sight, where did you get that negative of me? :biggrin
 
Yes I used to act my lust out, had many one night stands on my wife, and I am not proud of that, and I use to always have drug induced orgys, I am not bragging on this, just telling the truth. Then I come to realize that all that crap was nothing but a trap. By satan, and his demons. Demons are drawn to your desires, and if you get clean of this stuff, and go back to it. The demons return in a greater number.
You ask God to take them away, some people he delivers instantly, and some He does not you have to pray and work at it. But those thoughts will always come back, from time to time. I am a musician and girls always went with the territory. I heard T.D.Jakes say that, them thoughts arent going nowhere, but they can die down. But you can win the battle in Christ Jesus.
