Now, hard to tell. But there are suppose to be little "a" antichrists and one big capital A Antichrist. With the way this world's going they could have formed a 21st century club by now. And they're out there working hard to fulfill all the dark end times eschatology that every religion on earth has. Just to cover their bases.

Not a man. It’s only my opinion lol. I have a few reasons to believe it won’t be just a man. This does somewhat support part of the reason I don’t believe it to be just a man, but a spiritual being. After seeing this in slow motion, a lot if things start to make more sense. This is all about the spiritual and not the physical, this is about what you can’t see.

Revelation 17:7-18

The mystery of the woman is now revealed to John as being the Babylonian Empire,(was, and is not). The same Empire that in time became the Roman Empire

Rev 17 mystery Babylon is described. The seven heads and ten horns refer to the original ten kingdoms of which three were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:8. The last kingdom which stands greater than all the others is that of a revived Roman Empire that takes control over all the ten nations who then implements a deceiving peace treaty to a world that is in great distress. Below is that of the seven kingdoms described as four beasts in Daniel 7:1-8 and the three kingdoms that were subdued by the little horn, which is the Roman Empire.

The three kingdoms that were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:24 are the Heruli, Vandals, and Ostrogoths who were eliminated by the year 538 AD under the leadership of the Eastern Roman Emperor Justinian whose deadly wound came in 1798.

Seven remaining nations that still exist today:

Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon.

Medo – Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire.

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire: (little horn, Daniel 8:9-14, 23-27)
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.

Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Watch how history repeats itself even now that works in the world.

Which of these do you consider to be Antichrist?

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2Jn 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

There are some who call the first beast in revelation Antichrist and tat beast fits Johns description of an Antichrist.I agree solely on use of the verses you quoted for that kingdom mostly denies Christ and does not except him.

But there are some who say the second beast of rev 13 is Antichrist. And although it causes the saints to die and it"practices the authority of the first beast on its behalf" much like the Romans killed Christ on behalf of the israeli majority. This second beast does not fit Johns description of an Antichrist .
So who do you believe fits the description of an Antichrist?

Those who denied Christ ,judged him and condemned Christ?
The first beast?

Or those who practiced the authority of the first beast on its behalf?
The second beast?

See the similarities?

Which of these do you consider to be Antichrist?
These who judged and condemned Christ to be put to death.
http://biblehub.com/luke/23-21.htm
Or these who carried out the sentence.
http://biblehub.com/luke/23-24.htm
Neither of those groups meet the definition of the "antichrist".
1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
The crowds, pharisees, priests, and scribes did not deny the Father.
The one's who carried out the sentence were Romans. They were clueless about the God of scripture. For them, it was just a days work and a break from the tedium of garrison life.

Jesus was tried and convicted by the sanhadrin for claiming to be the Christ. They rejected him and wanted him to be crucified for that reason .

http://biblehub.com/luke/23-2.htm

The people wanted Christ to be crucified. How much more Antichrist can you get?

Those who condemned Jesus to be put to death said "crucify him" and "may his blood be upon us and our children".

They are covered by Jesus blood if his blood be upon them and there children. God is always one step ahead.

But it can be taken a different way. Some say its a curse, sentencing the Son of God to death and asking his innocent blood be upon them but I don't go on that theory.

Bit it can be taken a different way. Some say its a curse, sentencing the Son of God to death and asking his innocent blood be upon them.

I sincerely believe they didn't mean it that way.But if it makes you feel good to believe Jesus sprinkles his bood upon unbelievers, you go right ahead.

That's exactly what the phrase "Let his blood be on us and our children." means.
It means that they assume full responsibility for the shedding of His blood and His death.

So if Jesus blood covers them as they requested, then according to scripture they are covered by the blood of Christ.

They said his blood be upon us. So Jesus blood is upon them.

God saved Israel.

They obviously didnt know what they were doing at the time as Jesus said "Father forgive them they don't know what they are doing " and had 40 years to repent.
