Which scripture says he is human?

2 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

the man of sin is revealed.

The reason he is called the man of sin is because he is human.

Also he is revealed to mankind
and deceives mankind by going to the Temple and proclaiming that he is God by working signs and wonders, by the power workings of Satan.

This man of sin is claiming to be Israel's "long awaited" messiah, who is a man.

Satan has already been bound for the thousand years, and he has been released.

I see, so you believe the coming of the Lord is past, and the resurrection of the dead in Christ is past also?

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:4

and in what scripture is your man of sin called The Antichrist...

Joh_17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Yes we know Judas was called the son of perdition, that the scripture would be fulfilled that Jesus would be betrayed.

What Paul writes to the Thessalonians is well after the cross and betrayal by Judas. Paul is writing about the coming of the Lord and the events associated with that time.

Do you believe this man of sin, who goes to the Temple of God, and proclaims to be God... to be the true Christ or the false christ?

Jesus personally destroys this man of sin, who is called the lawless one, by the brightness of His coming.

This man of sin, who is the false christ will be alive on earth when Jesus returns, as he will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming.

Just because you choose not to believe it does not make it so. Just like a Jew who does not believe that their Messiah has ever come. Just because they don't believe it does not make it so.

To be a false christ would mean that someone thinks themselves to be Christ, would not that be so? Or does it mean that He just has not accepted Christ into his heart yet? Edited [/USER]?

The Scriptures tell us the meaning of antichrist.. The meaning is in the Books of John

I understand perfectly well the meaning found in John's Epistles, for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

The man of sin in 2 Thessalonians 2, is representing that he is God, the Messiah whom the Jews are "expecting" to come when they rebuild the Temple.

From Breaking News Israel -

While it is true that our generation has much to be grateful for and that our return to Israel is nothing short of miraculous, the golden dome sitting atop the Temple Mount provides a constant reminder that the Torah cannot be fulfilled perfectly and Judaism cannot be expressed fully until the Third Temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem.

May God quickly end this ugly war Israel is entangled in and bring a lasting and eternal peace to Zion so that this 9th of Av is the last sorrowful day and we all rejoice together in the streets of Jerusalem with the arrival of the Messiah and the redemption of the world.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

The Temple is Coming, and the man of sin, the son of perdition will be revealed to the world, when he sits in the Temple of God, which is the seat for the Messiah, the throne of David, showing himself as God.

So you look for a Temple that is not of Zion and in New Jerusalem?

I would humbly ask that we stop trying to make all of our comments agree with what it written in the scripture.
I can't believe you have the audacity to say this in a Christian forum.

We are Christians. We believe that the Bible is the foundation for the truth we are to believe, and think, and meditate on.

....and act on.

So you look for a Temple that is not of Zion and in New Jerusalem?

Yes, that is what Paul taught us in 2 Thessalonians 2, that will happen just before the coming of the Lord.

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

Jesus will return and destroy this impostor with the brightness of His coming.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

The prophet, Elisha, shows us the futility of seeing external man as our enemy. He first blinded the enemy army, the whole mountains of them, then led them, and even fed them bread and water. A single man of God, in the Spirit, openly defeated an entire army. While the blinded people of Israel feared wailed about whom? The men? Even the king saying, should I smite them should I smite them?

Uh, yeah, MAN is no match for God in Christ.

That is why it's futile to look at man as the enemy, as that is not the case, and it is not the case concerning the anti-Christ spirit.

God can immobilize this working of the anti-Christ by a single Prophet, moving in Truth, in a whole army.

Who is man to God? Almost makes me laugh, that absurdity.

I might add, the spirit of antichrist would sure surely desire us to worship that book instead of the Living G-d.

I worship Jesus, the Lord God, whose Words are written in the book we call the Bible.
