I have to say that even though I'm a girl, I love superheroes! And even though Jesus is my real life superhero, I also really enjoy pretend superheroes. I would have to pick Catwoman as my all time favorite because as I mentioned before, cats are my favorite animals and so I would love be able to see in the dark and leap around like a cat! Spiderman is probably my second favorite superhero though. :biggrin2

Isn't Catwoman a super-villain?

Well, I guess maybe a little bit but she says in the movie that sometimes she's good and sometimes she's bad, but only as bad as she wants to be. I think that she's somewhere in-between and simply misunderstood,..like me a lot of the time.

OK, makes sense. Admittedly, the Catwoman character was never completely evil, in fact her actions are often that of a classic anti-hero. If you're referring to Anne Hathaway's portrayal in the Chris Nolan Dark Knight series, this is especially so.

No, I meant the movie with Hallie Berry.

Yes, in the Dark Knight trilogy (Christian Bale as the B-man), Catwoman is Batman's main love interest, even though she is technically a criminal. Of course, Batman is technically a criminal, too, so they have more in common than you might think.

Really? I had no idea. I literally know nothing about Batman except that he has an enemy called The Joker and drives the Batmobile. I assume that he has the powers of a bat though. :lol Oh and somebody called Robin. His partner maybe.

Yeah, that's the whole mythos underlying the Batman story. He vows to fight crime (because his parents were murdered by a mugger), but finds that the only way to do it is live in the shadows and take the law in his own hands. That makes him an illegal vigilante; he has no official sanction from law enforcement, who chooses to look the other way because only Batman can fight the new wave of super-villains. That's why he is nicknamed the Dark Knight; internally conflicted, needing to become the very thing he loathes.

Batman has no super powers. He is one of the few super-heroes who is just a man. He must rely on advanced technology, superior intellect, and special training (he trained with the ninja of Japan). He models himself after a bat, as he was scared by them when a boy.

Robin is his young sidekick in some of the Batman versions. Also no superpowers, but precocious in his abilities.

I take it that you know an awful lot about Batman then.:lol No offense or anything but he doesn't seem like my kind of superhero if he doesn't have any superpowers. I always pictured him flyin through the night using his echo location. :rofl2
